Some lunch money for Vine at the top of the first climb. The gap has grown to a minute, so it looks like they may have been let go now.

A few good engines in that break, but I don't think it's enough and surely there will be problems with cooperation as the teams with 2 guys don't have the strongest climber in the break. Should have been a bigger break with teams like red Bull and Ineos getting in as well.

Should be no problem for Wilco and Victor to keep them close enough for the finale if they want to.

Don‘t know why people are suddenly oblivious to the advantages of having a guy up the road. Are you guys new to bike racing?
With 2 guys going for GC, I would have thought it would make more sense to save Vine for later, but maybe UAE have a Baldrick type cunning plan!:)

It is in Vine's contract that he can go for stages and KoM in 1 grand tour.

I predicted that Vine would get in the break. I think its a poor standard break when you look at the riders who have lost time on GC. Anyway the next 30kms will determine if the break survives.

Stage start in 10 minutes
Broadcast starts in 2 hours
First big Multi-mountain stage

Probably have to listen to Blythe for the first half an hour
Half the Avenir peloton will have probably abandoned before that one starts
You are ignoring the important role you are playing in allowing the agents of Bournemouth reserves players to secure a reliable pool maintenance service at their holiday villas.

You think this is a poor break? It is an incredibly strong break lol
I don't think it's crazy strong but given the weakish lineup I agree it's a good break. There's only really Ineos and Movistar missing who could have had a go and didn't?

Edit: I am stupid, Castrillo is there. So basically it's just like Magnus Sheffield, this is as strong as a break could reasonably be.

It's raining according to the Live Official webpage and the break is getting up to 5 minutes in front of the peloton.

10 riders are in the break. Do they all finish in the top 10 at today's finish?
