Does anyone know Palomares' palmares?

Apologies to anyone who's done that one already. And to everybody else too.

Looks to me like QST are doing a much better job of positioning Chavanel than Saxo Bank did positioning Contador. Yeah I know Contador didn't have the yellow jersey but still, keep the guy out of crashes.

Ok, they are talking about who's gonna get third, as if Purito-Browne 1-2 is a done deal... Ok boys, we're racing for third here

Sorry if this has cropped up elsewhere but Nibali has said this:

Vincenzo Nibali was ok to keep racing. “I have bruises on my thigh and my back but I slept well”, he said. “I’d love if the rules of racing allowed us to lose time within three kilometres to go. If so, we could let the sprinters fight for the stage win and we could reach the finish line safely without the worry of avoiding a split and time losses.”

Seems a bit contradictory & flawed to me - although that's not an endorsement to keep the ruling.

I remember Cav at this year's Tour complaining about having a load of GC guys in the way, as if there'd never been that problem before. Can't think why that would be, if the rules have always been the same. Anyone?

I wouldn't mind if they made that rule.

Set the finish line for the GC 3km before the line. Only pancake flat stages ofcourse.

Colombian TV just interviewed Soler's wife: she said he's still recovering, he still has a hard time speaking due to pain in his ribs, he also must continue to do physiotherapy, but she states he mental state is close to perfect.

What's the story with Haussler's bike? The green stripes and the ugly white hoods. It's that Thor's old TDF green jersey Cervelo?

I haven't seen it close. But it's probably a cervelo R5. One of the stock paint schemes has the green stripes you're talking about.

Txurruka goes.

Edit: Nop...looking more closely it looks like an S5.
