CARNAGE ON CAUBERG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh wait 50+ riders coming to finish together

That's because the best punchers of the U23 don't have the power to pull through their attack on the flat on the top. Pro's are different, more power.

What a **** race and what a complete and utter letdown of a course.

Perhaps I should cancel my trip.

The chasers will have more power too , I hope we wont see 50+ men sprint tomorrow.

And guys like Freire and Boonen are smiling:D

Edit: Why the heck I wrote is instead of are

It will always be a bigger group sprinting for the win in U23, when the distance is so relatively short compared to the pros. Especially as the level of U23 isn't ~100km worse than the pros IMO.

Dude, get your ****ing emotions under control. Crybaby... it was a soft race, then you get this result.

It's the riders that make the race

Perhaps but pro's are more specialized in general, and the margins are greater. Most of the best U23 guys are almost equal.

yes, but I still don't understand why the U23 race has to be so much shorter than the pros. I think the gap between U23 and pros isn't as big as it once was.

Well, that was completely....................underwhelming.
A dud, almost as bad as last year.
The "modest" course, ridden like that, was never going to be selective.

It is a stupid course, everyone was waiting for the Cauberg and it won't be any different tomorrow.

Limburg climbs are just not selective enough.

At the Amstel you get like 30 climbs and you still have guys like Freire fighting for the win...

That's it, I'mma go bowling tomorrow instead!

Freire was also ninth at LBL.

And bronze medal for my little home town, yay. Hope he finds a good WT team soon.
