Underbelly DVDs from Australia. Still waiting for Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities. Fantastic Australian TV series of true gangland life and war in Melbourne and Sydney. I saw some episodes when I was back in Australia earlier this year and was completely hooked.

oh.. half past three and my postman has turned up...

more forms from the DWP and registration for a relaxation course..

I spoke to mine this morning as he delivered an update from the housing association and a couple of shareholder voting forms. He is my new regular with the previous one getting a different area to cover as its a shorter route to help with a couple of problems he is having with his leg or foot.

Plus I had two more courier deliveries today, one was some PS3 games I ordered, and the other and best were a pack of 4 toilet rolls given to me to test.

A free PS3, which was nice. Got in when I ordered a new phone on contract.
My postie is the only one who has a killer cat on his round, yes my cat. Tom likes to attack him through the letter box, although the postie does like to play with him, winding him up as he does, no wonder he gets scratched.

Of course, they have testers for everything. I do a lot of market research surveys online in my spare time which is good as an extra source of income, or only source as it is right now. I think in the last 12 months i've earned about £300-£400 plus received a few goods to test such as shaving gel, toilet rolls, washing detergents.

In the past i've had free holidays, weekends away at conferences all expenses paid, and other stuff from surveys. Its quite relaxing too.

I think the strike is over, received a lot of post today. Two packages from Amazon, an application form for a job, and a letter from American Airlines Advantage Club regards a timeshare opportunity in Spain with Marriott.

What I received in the post:
1. combined water, garbage, and sewer bill
2. "Departure" magazine from American Express

What I posted today:
1. payment: combined water, garbage, and sewer
2. to Netflix: last disc of season 5 of "The Wire". Omar, Bubbs, Bunk, Lester, McNulty, Bodie, Stringer Bell, Avon Barksdale, Marlo Stansfield, Chris, Snoop... all memorable portraits, all memorable dialogue, wrapped up in a very memorable work of television. In one word: riveting. As Omar says, "...the game's out there, and it's play or get played. That simple." As Lester says, "A life, Jimmy, you know what that is? It's the sh*t that happens while you're waiting for moments that never come." As Bubbs says, "Thin line between heaven and here." From the opening moments of the series: McNulty: "If Snotboogie always stole the money, why'd you let him play?" Witness: "You got to, this is America, man." Watch one of the funniest moments here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2h9mCZuVG4

Pure Greek tragedy, The Wire. I recommend you watch it.
