Riders who I dislike tend to be guys who are too good... Those who suck the enjoyment out of every race by the sheer obviousness of the fact they are going to win. Examples are Contador in stage races or Cav for stage wins in GTs... Gilbert is closely approaching this point.

I have nothing, necessarily against them personally. Doping allegations aside I think Bertie is a perfectly swell guy. Same cannot be said about Cav, for who my dislike approaches near record levels for a non-doper.

Oh yes, and dopers.... Can't stand those guys.

you more or less covered this in part 1 :p

I agree tho. I really don't like the guys who dominate. I like canc more this season then after last year's classics. PR really p**sed me off last year.

Gilbert i liked more last year.

As for Conta, well Like Hrotha said, I can't believe anything he says.

There are not many riders I dislike. Contador I never was a fan of, and these days Andy is also getting on my nerves.

Otherwise I often dislike riders liked most by popular opinion. Like now, Gesink gets hyped by everyone in the Netherlands and on this forum, and I find myself liking him less and less. Same with TGBM and Vino for example: they're just too popular.

There are quite a few, so here are some awards:

Biggest tool in the peleton - Cavendish hands-down. He took the mantle from McEwen.

Most annoying self-righteous *** - Millar

Most boring GT rider - Menchov

Biggest misplaced sense of entitlement - Roche Jnr

Most annoying cheat - Leipheimer

Least sense of irony - Horner

Most uncharismatic - Karpets

Biggest cry-baby - Greipel

Most annoying 'under-the-radar' doper - O'Grady

Most annoying 'above-the radar' doper - Pharmstrong

Ugliest mug - Mosquera

Ugliest heart - it's a while ago, but nobody was a bigger c*nt than Jelle Nijdam

You sound a bit like a bullied teen in highschool.

You seem to have gone to a lot of trouble to find fault with the riders you mentioned. But the most crazy call was O'Grady. He has the respect of the whole peloton, not for his outstanding individual performances but for his work for his team. His performances are consistent and he hasn't stood out as an individual. Short of blood tests these are the most common indicators of doping. And whose opinion is it for ugly?
Are you trolling?

I used to "dislike" the French riders with Voeckler and Chavanel being the worst. Luckily for me I'm over that childish period now.

I think the only rider I don't like is Contador. Right from the start I couldn't stand him. Other than that, it's more the managers I don't really care for like Bjarne Riis, so it's fitting Contador is racing with SaxoBank.

Signed. Only other cyclist I never could stand was Bettini. But forunately he isn't racing anymore.

Hence the "under the radar" bit, I reckon. Go read about Cofidis and Gaumont.

Exactly. Plus I know from what I have witnessed with my own eyes. O'Grady is all fraud.

 Why ? Cause he's too strong? :p

Is the bold part a honest question? Perhaps it is the fact that he is the biggest ****ing cheater since LA and "you know who". I know thats why I dislike him.

My list of riders that I dislike:

1. AC
2. Valverde
3. Basso
4. Rest of the dopers.

.

Im not saying he is or isnt but saying you know for certain someone is clean, belongs in the clinic too.

Too often posters who never enter the clinic because its to cynical or whatever, and are happy to have all doping talk sent there, have absolutely no problem identifying who is or isnt clean on the Road section.

ANDY SCHLECK

CADEL EVANS

Never won a GT. They'll always find a reason to complain about or someone to blame.

That without mentioning they're doped to the gills.

I can't stand Rujano, he honestly thinks too highly of himself (like calling himself the 3rd best climber in the world, and yet he was on a Pro Continental team). Ryo can point to all his results in Colombia and Venezuela all he likes, but it's the results in Europe that count, and until his Giro stage win this year, he won SFA between now and the '05 Giro.

Otherwise you're just another fanboy

Well I might be a fanboy... or someone who knows him better than you do.

And calling you as just another poster trying to big-note himself with unsubstantiated claims.

If he's using it won't be a secret. So if you've got something put up.

+1

how has this thread not been put into the Clinic where it obviously belongs?

if there was no talk of doping, it could have been an interesting thread. the fact that very few seem to be able to separate that, makes it very dull thread indeed.

go whine in the Clinic.

The second you pull on a jersey for Bob Stapleton, you are nothing but a glorified lead-out man and even if I otherwise like you, I will be hoping you never win anything until you tell him where to shove his leadouts and ride somewhere else.

Fanboy it is then. Don't be too hard on yourself though rookie - we all had to start somewhere. Looking forward to that PM.

Contador - Any race without him is 10x more interesting than those with him
Baby Schleck - Fuk him for not trying something at Liege. He could have either tried something and come 2nd or 3rd or not tried something and come 2nd or third.
Graeme Brown - just dont like him (my fav aussies are matty lloyd, simon clarke and heinrich haussler)
I also dont like all dopers (I'm not gonna try and speculate who they are but I hate them all)
Cavendish is a bit of a **** too but he's better than the others
