For me, most likely we'll have 2 Sky on the podium. Another 1-2 would not be a surprise.

The other podium spot is a crapshoot, maybe Contador, Rodriguez and JVDB are the top candidates.

Riis I think might go for a tactical approach using Rogers and Kreuziger as opposed to straightforwardly backing Bert.

Garmin have options in Martin, Hesjedal and Talansky, but top 10 is the limit for any of them.

Movistar are strong this year but the podium is prolly out of reach.

Really? Naming him in the same line with the 2 other guys is ridiculous. You think he can compete for a podium spot with a 7 GT winner and purito?

What about valverde or quintana? Hesjedal? Andy even has a better chance :D

He has 2 top 5s in the Tour. You think he's a schmuck? He never does anything spectacular, but on paper he's one of the top contenders. Tour record > Valverde, Purito, Hesjedal.

Well first of all he had some issues in dauphine, i doubt he'll be at full 100% in the tour. I rate Valverde higher although he'll have that one bad day of course but it's been a while since we've seen 100% in the tour.

Purito is at another level these past 2 years, completely different rider. Hesjedal can do it. You also have quintana but it's still unclear how he'll do in 3 weeks if h e rides for GC.

You also have AS, and euh Fugls...ok i'm not gonna go there

Anyway no way VDB2 will come even close to AC unless he crashes, same with purito.

If some crashes in the first week VDB2 has a chance for podium but otherwise i give him 1% ;)

What were his issues at the Dauphinee? These are the things which are hard to keep track of.

He had to take antibiotics after a few days. Not that big of an issue he says but details count of course.

If he does that Alberto should leave at the end of the year. He needs full support and I'm sure he can find that somewhere else if Riis isn't willing to do so. Besides it would be pretty stupid because Rogers and Kreuziger don't stand a chance anyway, maybe a stage win for Kreuziger.

I think they will, but who cares.

If he ever does this again they should push him off the podium FFS.

Don't think so, just can't see Porte making the podium. Are too many other guys that are much better.

Miburo, create new poll. :) I'd do it myself, but don't remember how.

Porte can podium only if Froome will much stronger than everyone

I can just see froome doing pistols at contador on the podium or if he wins a stage just to humiliate contador even more. at least with contador his attacks are exciting. porte will probably put out a solid top 5 if he's lucky because the team isn't based around him and he's a domestique. too many good riders are going to the tdf with teams based purely around them for porte to podium. He'll be the final leadout man for froomes pathetic little hill sprints  so won't be able to do as well in the gc. I can just see froome attacking on ax-3 in the last km only to see rodriguez come sprinting past at twice the speed to froomes disbelief :D. Purito and valverde will show froome who's boss when it comes to hill sprints and schleck and contador will show froome how to attack properly on mountains

He could take a steak with him on stage and throw it to the crowd :p

Or he could throw it at froome and prevent froome from beating him in the inevitable uphill sprint :D
JVB podiuming? R u crazy? he got dropped on every mtf at the dauphine. His usual strategy of sneaking into a break while the main rivals r looking at each other won't work with sky this year. They'll chase down the break immediately even if froome has several minutes on him.
