Who's the most aesthetically pleasing rider?

Cipo!

Seriously, he was a sprint specialist and no one won with better style, sartorially or otherwise.

For classics, Boonen and Cancellara just look "right" on a bike. Contador, in perfect shape, makes climbing look fun.

Can't speak to the past but in my mind's eye every rider from the black shorts era looks great...

A funnier topic might be "who's the least aesthetically pleasing rider?" (though I would be surprised if it hasn't already been done).

I think we have some good candidates here: Aru, Mollema, Chris Anker Sørensen, though for me Aru takes the prize.

I genuinely like to see Aru on a bike...

I suppose we could probably do it by category - climber, rouleur, puncheur, tt, sprinter.

I agree that Contador dancing up a climb is pretty special, likewise Boonen smashing some cobbles, Wiggins in a TT. Interesting that there are no Sagan mentions so far.

Bugno from the past = tick. Very classy.

Really? I thought you were joking! He looks horrendous :D

There's something unique about it. Plus his legs. His legs make it such a nice affair.

Contador when climbing and not getting dropped
I liked Andy Schlecks climbing style as well
Tom Dumoulin on a TT bike
Sagan on almost any terrain on his roadbike
Boonen on cobbles
Cavendish when positioning for sprint
Wiggins when parking his bike
Kittel when throwing bike
Danny Macaskill for stuf non roadies

Yeah, Contador's style really isnt amazing when he is struggling. I specifically remember PSM. However, when he is on top of his pedals, he looks very good and is very inspiring.

Is anyone's style amazing when they're struggling?
As in when you can actually see they're struggling, Kiry doesn't count.
Does he even know the meaning of the word struggle?

There is just a very big difference between a good Contador and a bad one, aesthetically. Schleck fx. looked great no matter what.

Edit: I think almost all bike riders (amateurs, such as us) all have tried to imititate Contador. I for have tried to to change my climbing such that I stand up for the majority of time
