Sky (Via Fran IIRC) issued a statement at that time the photo was taken in response to a tweet storm that he was indeed blood tested that day.

Matt link please. And not from the horses mouth.
The source I quoted says no passport testing on that day.

Ned boulting not even asking about the plaster goes to confirm the impression we have from the british press 're Sky. Clueless fanboys with typewriters.

You posted someone quoting a Cyclismas article that has been throughly rubbished. I'm pretty much 100% certain you know this. I'm also pretty much 100% certain you know where this comes from:

One doesn't need a tinfoil hat not to be stupid, but others could do with not burying their head in the sand.

Ned Boulting has no doubt seen a number of cyclists with plasters on their arms after visiting doping control, it takes some pretty simplistic reasoning skills just to come up with one reason he wouldn't bother to ask.

Other thing. If anyone knows: Is 1 hour and 9 minutes a common delay between notification and actual test?

Right after visiting a dope control and bloods being taken is the ideal time to take IV PEDS, no?

But anyone taking Sky at their word at present is really taking the piss.

I doubt questioning a rider about doping when he knows the plaster is likely from an anti-doping control would cost him his job, but feel free to believe that.

With media obligations it makes sense and a minder would be with him the whole time.

You might want to look at the date of the test and then decide if it was an idea time to take IV PEDs considering the risks involved.

Yeah, with two embedded film crews and surrounded by the world's media.

Mat, keep defending liars, this sport has been a cesspit for a long time. Sky said they were going to be whiter than white. They drew this heat, they lied. The *** is hitting the fan because they made it so.

Now you want to get pedantic on a plaster, great. But Wiggins is a doper. That is clear. In the words of Braislford, you don't lie on Monday, but not on TUEsday. You dont lie about legal dope and not take illegal dope.

I think fans have the right to be cynical about everything in this sport, to doubt and question everything. If you cant see that than you cant see this sport has huge problems still.

Remember when Pat McQuaid announced Brad as the winner?
I think it was somewhere shortly after the first rest day.

Indeed they are. But this picture and associated chat proves nothing other than he had his blood tested that day.

There's plenty of other inconsistencies and questions worth discussing, why bother with this nonsense?

What's your point?

That trying to cheat with camera crews recording thousands of hours of documentary footage is maybe not a smart move?
