It's just another piece fitting into the puzzle, Roland. Just a shame fanboys and deniers can't see it. Only the Hog and I know this (and I only know because he told me) but sooner or later Wiggins will rip off a huge prosthetic rubber mask only to reveal a smirking Lance underneath with 'I told you I was clean' tattooed on his forehead.

Ah, so it's a Face/Off situation? Someone better tell Cath!

You either do not get humour whatsoever , or are one of those people who tries to cash in on a good joke by adding something unfunny that ends up totally killing the atmosphere

Cos it's really rocking in here isn't it.

Hey, can we be friends and maybe go out for a beer or something?

Utterly laughable if you are inferring from that photo in Spain BW is smoking weed, and such a convenient, lazy conclusion.

And anyway he never inhaled

It's not the 1930s. Aerobic endurance athletes don't spend hundreds of hours a year perfecting their aerobic systems only to fly off to an island vacation so they can smoke tobacco.

Wigans should make friends with Phelps.

I am not long enough on this forum to know this so I'll just ask the forum CN Dino's: are these Wiggo fanboys of the same stature in comparison to LA's?

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if 'Bob - Ziggy' Wiggo decides to quit cycling this year.

Wouldn't surprise me if Wiggins reads this thread and then decides to ride the Tour of Britain just to make you look stupider

Well you should know then that a large part of society see drink and recreational drugs as the way to let their hair down.

Look, I'm not claiming Wiggins is clean. I have no idea, and at times I have thought he was doping (2009 TdF blood values, which looked remarkably similar to those of a certain Texan who is now being prosecuted in part due to those values). But to say "his father left when he was 2" or "he was photographed toking on a spliff" and give these as conclusive proof that he is a doper is idiotic and I thought you were better than this.

(yes I know the father leaving comment was not from you).

Now if you can uncover (eg) a payment to a gynaecologist or a story about him keeping the vampires waiting while he has a long shower, I look forward to reading them.

My "father" factoid was merely pointing out the similarities (and yes, imply they may have similar impacts on the psyche) between 2 riders. In no way did I say or claim that it was evidence of doping, and will reiterate now, it is simply an interesting and somewhat incredible to my mind, coincidental factoid, pointing to the nurturing of someone who ended up on the world cycling stage.

My father left when I was 18 months old and I have never seen him since. So that means I must have the same moral compass as Armstrong then?

Yes, it probably does give you more drive to prove yourself in life, but please do not link it to how you put that drive into practice.

Don't give Armstrong the excuse. Armstrong and Armstrong alone is responsible for his choices. Not his upbringing.

Sorry, but it ****es me right off when people use their upbringing as an excuse to be a **** as an adult.

I hope he does, then you can chear him on with your newly bought SKY kit. Or wait, you are not a SKY fan.

I don't like the poking in cyclists private lives. Let the man smoke a joint, drink beer. I couldn't care less.

Upbringing always plays apart i think. We are the products of environment kind of thing. :)

Could be his swansong. No one wants to see him "do an Evans" in next year's tour. (Apart from some French, Australian, American, Belgian, Kenyan people etc etc....)

You mean those fans of those countries who want to see a clean winner?

Tap on the shoulder? Have I missed something? I don't remember this.

You've not missed anything, it's just Ferminal pretending there was an issue with Evans' bio passport when there's been no evidence or even innuendo to support such a statement. :D
