If you are expecting tactical genius from Team Sky then prepare to be sadly disappointed.

lol, not expecting much, but I liked their tactics better today. To do it again they need Wiggins close in GC.

Strong team still.

4? I'm confused.
Wiggins was supposed to be ahead of Nibali by 2 minutes after the ITT, which happened to be the long ITT, and hang on to Nibali's wheel -> 4 minutes turn around.

Wiggins going going gone... backwards:eek:
List of excuses
1) Cataldo's bug - 1:00 loss
2) Rain - 2:00 loss
3) Bike started to growl - 1:00 loss
4) Puncture - 0:30 loss
5) Crash - 1:00 loss
6) Cold - 0:40 loss
7) Columbian Conspiracy - 3:00 loss
8) Others - 2:00 loss
9) UFOs - 2:00 loss
So actually he would have won but for the above factors:D.
There is more to come, keep the list handy. :D

Really. Or may be Wiggins hasn't studied Giro stages properly.

It's possible I suppose. But apart from the penultimate stage I can't see anything tougher for him

It's not 'whatever', it's a fact. Sorry if I hurt your feeling re: Wiggo though.

The fact is, that he's 2 minutes behind, the rest are assumptions. But no doubt his plan was to be in front by at least a minute after the ITT.

He is done, there is no getting around it. I don't know why people are denying it. He's never been someone to attack on the climbs - he is supposed to own everyone in the TT (which he failed to do) and then defend in the climbs (which he also failing to do).

The one possibility he could win is if he gets stronger and more into shape as the Tour goes on but it is unlikely. Just not strong enough in either the TTs or the climbs and that's even if he doesn't have to do one single more wet descent.

Wiggins hasn't actually used any of these excuses though. You made them up yourself and decided to pretend that he had so that you can 'make fun of him'. It's the sort of thing you would expect from a ten year old.

Yep, the Tre Cime stage. It's much tougher than today's stage. Stage 19, Gaiva-Stelvio-Val martello stage is also very tough.

Exactly and he's not gonna get any better or/and become an attacker all of a sudden, capito?

he will lose again time on both jafferau and tre cime

climbs suited to his style and maybe taking time back if he really improves which looking at team sky today, i still won't rule out : galibier(if it's not erased) or telegraphe, polsa ITT, val martello

few chances...nibali is looking prepared for anything but anything still can happen

Is Wiggins Levi?

He's wheel sucking and sitting in is nauseating.

Give me the Dawg any day.

:D Dude...seriously? You can act tough as you want, that doesn't make facts out of your theoretical assumptions. I know it's very unlikely for him to bounce back (in the fight for pink), but a podium spot is still possible.

He should lose time on the Stelvio descent if it rains. It will be extremely cold on galibier. (if not snowing) You reckon he can handle that?

He's so annoying. So lame. So boring. Really what a pathetic clown!

His team is setting pace the whole day and he's not even trying to launch an attack. This guys seems to have no acceleration at all. He needs a conductet Tour to the finish.

To compare him to Levi is an insult, even for Levi. Levi at least DID his work for stronger team mates. Levi did put back his own ambitiouns behind the ones of a stronger teammate. Hell, Levi even was a stylish climber once during his career compared to Wiggins.

As someone already mentioned this is the second grand tour Sky might lost, because Wiggins is unable to give away his leadership to a stronger teammate.

But Sir Wiggins as always has something important to say. Slick and polished chandelier.

This guy is no champion at all. A true champion is able to take the reins like Contador or Armstrong. Most farcial TDF winner since Riis.

I think you're simply not seeing the humour in the post. It's obviously in jest.
