Uhm…did you watched the race? Froome speaks the truth which is nice to hear. Bradley is an egoistic, undeserving ***. Take stage 17 for example. Froome could easily have caught Valverde and won the stage but Wiggins did not let him go!

And at the point, Nibali was already dropped and there was only 2,5km left. Can you seriously believe how much of a ******bag Wiggins must be?

Imagine:

Froome: Since we dropped all the GC-threats and it's only 2,5 km to go, can I attack and take the stage win?
Wiggins: Actually, I don't like to put my nose into the wind, so NO. You will stay here and pace me all the way up.

Of course Froome is ****ed since he was denied chances to win stages just because Wiggins ego could not take it.

so you are calling wiggins a pr1ck based on a conversation you have imagined? lol

the media is cooking up 'plan B' , not brailsford

Well he's certainly giving it some weight then
Referring to a possible Plan B for Sky, Brailsford added: “You’ve got to think about Richie Porte as well, where he’s been at, the level that he operates at.”

Assuming he was reacting to a question (it doesn't sound like it the way it was written), he should have just dismissed it by saying that Wiggo had declared that he was ready to be Froome's domestique, period.

Looks like DB's balls are being held in a vice like grip by Cound, not looking good for Bradley for the tour.

So, saying that, who has the final say in all this, Froome (Cound), DB or the sponsors?

Cound is definitely running the show.
Wouldn't want to come home without the bacon.

He was just trying to secure a spot on the Tour team, obviously. What else was he going to say?

It would be a major blow for him as a Tour champion, Britain's first, to have missed the Tour for the 2 years following his win. Humiliation once again at the hands of his nemesis would be too much of a pill to swallow. I figure if he doesn't make the Sky Tour team, he'll definitely be elsewhere next year and OGE sounds like a comfortable landing spot.

Looks like he's being shafted once again.

Hope he goes to OGE now.

With the new track qualification rules making him spent a whole lot more time there to get to the Olympics in Rio.

Would OGE be willing to pay for his part-time services?

The whole point of Sky being set-up was to support dual track and road riders.

Does he really want to ride track in 2016, did he really want to ride the Giro 2012 instead of the Tour?

Is he saying these things because he seems to have no place in the setup anymore?

Now that all this has come out with Froome, everything we seemed was true, probably isn't.

He does seem fixed on the goal of becoming Britains 'best ever' Olympian.

For that he needs medal opportunities.
Which seem to be easier to come by on the track.

This being Wiggo, he could easily change his mind (again) though.

Well, it's basically 1 medal opportunity either way, isn't it? Team Pursuit vs Individual Time Trial. Can't see him doing omnium.

Though I think I recall some muttering about changing the program?

The Sprints are > 1 person per country was a recent change. (not that it helps him)

The IP returning to the track is certainly possible. Not sure when that decision is due.

But being part of the TP seems a shoe in for a medal, and a good shot at gold.

The ITT on the road, again good shout at a medal, but it will be hard to see him beating Tony.

*edit
Per Wikipedia, that decision was in August 2013. Same races as in 2012.

Not mentioned in the article but they worked together well at Garmin in 2009 too...

It's a pity OGE can't take him this year. I have just watched this interview with Chris Froome and my guess is that Wiggins will not be in the Sky lineup for this year's Tour.

We'll find out in the next few days who's in Sky's Dauphine team. If Wiggins isn't in it I think there's no chance for him starting the Tour.

All this leaves a very sour taste in my mouth, Wiggins deserves a place, and by the looks of it he's not getting it.

Pretty crap, who's running this team!

wow.. fromey is calling the shot now. I feel pitty for wiggins. I think his form is better than any of the rest of the sky team (except froome). If froome doesn't choose him to be on the team, boy the media will have a field day. And I'm sure as much as wiggins will say the right thing, I don't thing this will go down well if he isn't choosen to be part of the TDF team. I guess we'll know, the reason might be more personal rather than who has the leg. And don't tell me about the team chemistry. Sky never cares about team chemistry. If their leader stab each other, as long as, both of them has killer instinct and can deliver, that what matters.. This is going to be an interesting TDF, either way. Wiggins make the TDF team or not. I'll get ready with the popcorn..:D
