so by some peoples own admission they will vacate the threads for a period of time if armstrong starts and finishes. sad all your favorites are as doped as he is so why watch at all? these individuals live vicariously through athletes they hate quite sad.

Damn, why you want to make me go back and visit that fight? I always thought Marvin took it, but hey, history cannot be changed post fight.

Ray convinced Hagler to fight 12 rather than 15 for a couple million more of the purse.

Hagler would've knocked him out if the fight went any longer.

If I were Landis, I would release to the press a little bit of information every day. It would be fun watching the sh!tstorm engulf Armstrong and the Tour.

If i were Landis i would Gate crash Armstrongs press conference with emails in hand the day before the prologue. The press are all there and will be already eager to hand Lance a **** in a brown paper bag

Amazing isn't it? I realize that ESPN is mostly read by Americans, and I respect everyone's opinion, no matter what their nationality or background and all the other good stuff. But a lot of the people just seem to reply angrily and briefly without any substance on that site. "You have named a laundry list....I've got a theory, too. Lance did not cheat." I guess he is pretty confident in his theory. But, alas, he had to go biking soon, so maybe that's why it was so short, ha.

most of my comments (not about cycling, I didn't even know they had a cycling forum) at espn's site are one liner jabs, that's about the extent of the 'discussions' there. Perhaps there is a forum that has more substance, but most 'conversations' are brief reactions. Almost like a chatroom than a forum.

I can't be bothered by every Lance fan or Lance hater, same for AC, why bother going there? Just to get upset and fight. I get my fill of that here.

I'm sure I said it before ravens....

I want it to be so public and galling that even the diehards will see that it is not a 'french' conspiracy and he has been deceiving all of them. There will be no zealots like converts.

Is there some sort of prize for being the first one to get it wrong? :D

Link please!!

I would be interested in what any of the feline arm chair champions on here have achieved in their own cycling careers.....pretty easy to bash other cyclists when you havent ever suffered from riding five hundred mile weeks yourselves...course it is easy when youre a JEALOUS little puss

might be pretty amusing to see pics of some of the posters....wonder how many of them resemble butterball turkeys?

You're interested in looking at pictures of men's bodies. Does it arouse you?

Lance carrys the hopes and dreams of millions to the startline. They are heavy so he's going slowly at first but he'll get there.

We can always count on you to put things into perspective WonderLance. Thanks again. You too carry the dreams of millions to our forum, and I know that being the best Lance fan on the whole entire complete planet must be a big burden, but you shoulder it with the grace of a buffalo. I for one have nothing but admiration and lust for you. Nobody can touch your Lance bonifides. You complete me.

What part of "stop posting insults", or "stay on topic" do some of you not understand?

Thanks BullsFan22, despite being relatively new, you're one of the few that actually made a post related to the topic at hand.

Cmon Alpe, you just need to look at the posters to see this would never stay on topic, with the topic being what it is! All the usual suspects hovering between denial and wishful thinking.

Anyway, for my part, Of course Lance will start, I've maintained it for ages in the face of more flames than hell. There has never been any logical reason why he would not start barring injury.

That is quite a bike. Are those dual rear views? The rack is a nice touch (did the frame have eyelets?), as well the uprights. Quite the machine to personify support for your hero. Bravo.

He could catch the Flue off Contadore last minuit. All sorts of funny things happen the days before the tour starts.

All started when Willy was on his way to catch a ferry with the boot full of cocktails.

What a feeling how would you be in that situation!!!!

Never been same since.
