I think he rides steady long distance tempo, he will have enough in tank for the finale. If those chaotic actions continue behind and Evenepoel/MVP dont manage to drop the rest, Pog may not be caught.

MVDP also getting exposed here. The guy seems only capable of winning when he doesn't have to orchastrate a team and can just let other teams do the work.

You had 2 teammates in the Peleton, put them on the front and slowly crawl back that gap on the flat/the descent. Now he's just killing himself doing donkey attacks and having to follow attacks himself.

Proper disasterclass by him and Remco, they've wasted more energy these last 20 minutes than Pogacar had to waste upfront.
