And they didn't want to stop, however great their madness, however grevious our sufferings; they carried on against all reason and despite all warnings. Yet they all commited themselves to false conclusions, as I have told Scott So Cal--ultimately to nothing but their base economic and political interests, which ultimately dooms everything to failure including themselves. They say they believe in progress, but their ideology halts all progress and finally brings everything to an end. This is the inherent paradox of the conservative world-view.

I've just been reading the latest Economist magaine we get in Australia, and the article on what is wrong with America's right. They mentioned a bloke by the name of Ron Paul, a guy who wants to pull America out of NATO and the UN and abolish the Federal Reserve, and they also mentioned that he is a tea partier (also somebody like Sarah Palin), does this mean that the most conservative of the Republicans?

Or is this guy a nut case?

They talk a good game, but when it comes to actually standing up for what you say you believe and defending it against attacks, they just slink away to the safest position available and pretend they didn't hear themselves talking prior to that. Then again, find a Republican politician willing to stand up and say they think Bush did a great job.

I would like to but in and try to stop anyone for falling for this Ron Paul bull **** and digress a bit from there.
The guy is a nut case. His son is named Rand Paul (i think after ayn rand since thats the sort of politics ron paul represents). His son recently got himself into trouble for a comment about the civil rights, a problem Ron Paul has become used to facing over the years ( they believe businesses have the rights to turn down customers, and hence that in 1964 business should still have had the right to turn down african americans).

Though i do not live in or visit America, i have not failed to notice that Ron Paul has some fans on the left. In America, as everywhere else, the far right and the far left are difficult to distinguish. I was not shocked to find that michael moore and sean hannity are friends. Jfk once joked to a room full of nobel laureats that there never was so much intelligence in one room since thomas jefferson dined alone. Well in the case of this latest moore hannity love in, there has never been so much stupidity and demagoguery in one room, ever. Also david duke (kkk grand wizzard) and cindy sheehan (grieving mother of soldier turned leftist whackjob) joined together to say that a secret jewish conspiracy had been responsible for the US going into Iraq. Since this idea seems remarkably similar to the protocols of the elders of zion, i am guessing that Sheehan got this text from Hamas, while Duke got it from the Fallwell religious right.
the point is, you really know if someone is on the extreme, when they start crossing over into the other end of the scale. Ron Paul ticks this box with his far left friends and supporters.

The MMS was corrupted by the conservatives of the world who are all for "drill baby drill."

Obama's failure was that he's been derelict in his duty to clean up Republican crimes and put the criminals in jail.
