Yeah I was surprised as well. It was only two days ago too, and since then it has steadily been decreased. I think anything above odds 10 is pretty good.

Yeah I don't think he will win but he certainly had a chance and those odds are much too big. I had a dream last night that Cav won from a solo breakaway :D. U never know!

Put my first ever bet on on the Worlds there. Picked three outsiders with good odds, and hedged with Gilbert and Sagan. Somewhat contradicted what I posted on here.

If a big time sprinter wins I lose though.

u23 probably the best chance for a nice payout.

unfortunately you can't bet on those. I hope next year it will be possible to bet on smaller races. I would;'ve been the only one to have bet money on arriagada and see him win

Bet365 had odds on the U23 itt - winner and h2h. And last year they also had odds on RR. Pretty sure there will be a few odds again this year.

Sorry if this has been covered (900+ replies is too much to go through), but at the worlds what bikes do they ride? Will they use the same bikes as their trade team - or do national teams have there own bike sponers? If it is their trade team bikes the mechanic would have to know and have parts for a varity of makes.

Thanks.

I will definitely wait with putting in my bets after tomorrows u23 race

That would have been optimal for sure, but couldn't help betting at odds 16 when he was at odds 8 max at every other site, and knew it would only be a matter of time before the odds went down :)

As it is now, I could sell him again and turn a profit already.

They use their trade team bikes.

I do not know if they are legally required to ride them in their contracts, but it makes sense riding the same as you have done the whole year (especially for the TT).

Thanks Ferminal. Yes that does make the most sense. It would be intersting if they do have free choice and they did not go with their trade team bike - I notice in another thread that someone suggested that Canc does not like the Trek TT bike... it would be great if he came out on his old Saxo bike... :p
