The last few days have been pretty cold in the upper puster valley, for 3 days in a row we had below -15°C in the morning and today we had -9°C at noon, that's really cold and the actual winter is just starting.
The good thing is that we already have a somewhat decent amount of snow and a few XC skiing tracks are already open.

Besides the freeze we had back last early winter the weather hasn't been too bad in my parts lately.

It's been raining a bit, and despite the mud the rain causes (and all the DIYs you need to do because of it), I'd like to see a lot more of rain. (Eh, I don't live in the PacNW because of all the sunshine!)

Winter here has been surprisingly mild so far, this week the temps have been in the high 50s F. I'm sure we'll have more frost coming our way, but right now things are beginning to blossom.

About four inches overnight. It should be an exciting commute!

Yikes!

Our snow is mostly all gone, but it is about 20F right now. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, the commute will be icy.

In Baja today.. lots of sun and pretty steady rain.. don't see it's origin but got some rain..cold by S.Cal Northern Baja standards in the mid 50's..
Rain is needed around here.. we forget it is supposed to happen..

40's through 60's and it's still winter. We even had it reach upper 70's yesterday...nice temps but more rain...

Warmer than normal, colder than normal, wetter than average, dryer than average, warmer than normal, colder than normal...its been a five month roller coaster than doesn't seem to follow the norms/averages.

As KB has said, central Scotland has went completely bonkers, been a long time since I've seen the weather this bad....good fun walking the dug in it earlier but it is Baltic

I seen that they raised a red warning for the south west of England for snow, and on the BBC news they were saying that people who are 30 years old have never seen snow down that way..unreal to think that

Wind in Scotland is back with a bang, had the 3/4 bib tights on today but the wind coming from the east was cutting me in 2....Ended up taking the easy cycle path home today, the roads around me are flat and very exposed.....it was a grind and I was struggling to do 15mph on the flat going into the wind


I really need it to start getting warmer soon

Winds here in N. Va as well. 3 weeks ago on the weekend we had 35-40mph sustained winds plus gusts. That was the worst of it but it’s still been just plain windy. Today has been 20ish mph winds sustained.

I'm still waiting for all the rain to come, and the snowpack in the mountains has been excessively poor as well this year. (This means a lot of work for the wildfire firefighers come summer. Not a good thing, if I may say.)

30 °C yesterday where I live (NE Belgium). Today a much fresher 27 °C expected.
April 2018 will again be among the 5 warmest Aprils recorded here. The top-5 contains only years post 2006. What do you mean, 'climate change'.
