To be fair to Alaphilippe, he did take a turn - and then clearly got a bit of an earful from the DS and had to go to the back - shaking his head in the process.del1962 said:Sad for Petr but at least Kwia took some turns unlike Alaphillipe
Really? I thought Alaphillipe would win as he really sat on at the endGigs_98 said:This outcome was so incredibly obvious.

I agree, JA will be a monster in the years to come.jsem94 said:Sagan could have played it cooler. He didn't have to pull so hard with 700m to go. The peloton were never going to catch him. Then he kicked on in the sprint too early. 210-215m to go and he went. Could have waited another 30-40m. But what an attack on the Poggio. All three top quality riders who will go on to win great things. Alaphilippe will probably be World Champion some time.
Tbh it wasn't obvious that Kwiat would beat Bala Jr. but I only meant that it was obvious that Sagan loses the sprint after working way more than the others.jaylew said:Really? I thought Alaphillipe would win as he really sat on at the endGigs_98 said:This outcome was so incredibly obvious.

When Gerrans goes solo like Kwiat did in Strade Bianche, I think the criticism would stop. Kwiat helped a little bit. Gerrans sat on Cancellara the whole way.
