Anyone else thinking of Pozzovivo? Showed really good form in Trentino, and was of the best climbers in 08 edition. Exited to see him in the mountains, maybe he's improved his time trial too.

karlboss said:I think Vino and Evans look heavy. For the Giro i think their TT will be good, but they'll be looking to defend in the mountains, and this isn't the giro for it. I also think they may have hit will hit top form too early and look great in the opening stages and then fade..i think someone else said that...
Vandevelde for the win, I like being different. Real reasons, TTT obvious, and Garmin can claim its to put whoever in pink, then will fly under the radar and launch a surprise attack with Millar on the flattish up hill finishes after limiting losses in the super tough uphills.

Ferminal said:I disagree, I think Evans will be in top form, but that it will not be enough to beat Pellizotti (If he is also in top form).
The thing with Evans, he's only done one competition TT, on a new bike. It doesn't matter a great deal because the ITT miles aren't huge, you just wonder if BMC have been practicing their TTT as that will be more crucial than any of the individual ones.
auscyclefan94 said:Yes, they did after tirrenno but know with the fab 3 on the sidelines for bmc thaey will have a different team. Not sure if i agree with the comment of Pellizotti's form but anyway.

Runitout said:Evans' team is too weak, I think. If he wins it'll be a well deserved victory.
Liquigas ftw. Probably Pellizotti.
Edit - however I've seen nothing of his form this year. How is Pellizotti travelling?
Ferminal said:Hasn't done much... Vino was too hot for him last week.
Captain Kirk said:Could not agree more, Giro lets go !
auscyclefan94 said:Yes, but with those riders they would of most likely limited the damage. Now i am not so sure.
