I'm on tenterhooks wondering if they'll be brought back before the intermediate sprint. Nothing is more exciting than a breakaway, we all know that.

The péloton had better get their skates on if they want to manage that then. Looks like my apocalyptically negative scenario is feeling increasingly likely.

People constantly complaining how boring flat stages (while wetting themselves in awe of every Giro fart) are, are:

boring. :p

The question on everyones minds.

What time should I turn the alarm on for if i want to catch the last 20 minutes?

I'm guessing they finish at 17:47. If anyone gets closer, congrats. ;)

Someone just went down HARD.

My heart skipped a beat... Just imagine what that would have been like if he didnt have a helmet on. The bump on the road did it. Goddamn boobytraps...

Yeah i saw that too, puncture? Looked like a HTCer?

Goss went down and was paced back. Vandewalle was the guy who started it all off, making his way back behind vanendert, torn jersey.

"Hey, there's Kolobnev... Wait, no, all the national champs just changed, remember... Who is that... Who won... Who the hell is that... Argh... BRUTT"

And I figure it'll be the same (or the opposite) with many other riders.

Imlach, Boardman and the other guy were doing a fantastic job. Now we are back to Phil and Paul's tired old schtick.

I know! That is so stupid. We won't even see the KOM jersey for at least the first two days.

It will be seen, most likely with the one who finishes 3rd today. As stage winner is likely to lead GC (automatic), points (intermediate sprint may change this) and KOM (automatic)

So today's stage result will lead to following jerseys tomorrow:
1st = Yellow
2nd = Green
3rd = Polka-dot

VDV still intact. The Euskatel riders also still intact but its a matter of time.

Disclaimer: I hope they all stay upright.
