"Crazy" Sagan has just added a bicycle bell to his bike: "Just like cars have horns, I want to have this to avoid danger"...... He even bought the same one as I have on my own racer

I seriously loves his fun approach to racing! :D

As far as I know Mollema also has a bicycle bell on his bike. Allthough maybe he only has it on his bike when he's training. Not sure if he uses it while racing.

Gesink looks fine to me. No cuts, no bandages. No pain face

Let's just hope there are no more crashes. Unless it are some nobodies, but preferably none. We need Gesink and Valverde to atleast try and attack in the mountains. If we are going to lose climbers it's going to be the dullest TdF ever ;)

The crash (Gesink, Valverde, Peraud, Greipel, Westra, etc), apparently, was caused by diesel fluid on the road. :(

Greipel the only rider with 'significant injuries' according to the Tour doctor. Most others only had minor injuries, abrasions and contusions

Wonder how significant the injuries are. Could affect Lotto's participation in the chase and finish but if they think he still has a chance then they will still go for as it seems to have been working.

Surely the perfect finish would be to beat Contador and Andy Schleck at the Vuelta though - save beating the big guns until last?

Exactly. The perfect finish :D

Much faster stage today then yesterday? Are they bored too?

Diesel fluids on the road? A french farmer has a beef with the gubmint; crying over spilled milk? Where's the badger when you need him.

I think the breakaway is riding much faster today. That's why the peloton has to ride faster too.

With the crash and subsequent delay, they also got an extra minute or so?

Since Karsten rides for a Danish outfit, does he get paid in Kro(o)ner?

Malacarne. What an odd name. Any Italians able to shed some light?

Maybe a future prospect for Riis, lol.

Also remember they have Henderson who's also capable of a good result if Greipel doesn't feel well to contest the sprint.

Goss did very nice there, coming from Cav's wheel for a long sprint. It didn't look like Cav could do anything there.

I suppose we find out whether Greipel is interested in the points jersey or not today.
