Hoping on andy, where has cycling come to? What's next? Hope on fuglsang?

A combined EARLY attack off andy and alberto, it might really happen, let's hope.

You know, when it is not I that says tihs. It does kind of sound really sad indeed

And lost half the time he lost today.

And that TT was over an hour long instead of 40 minutes today.

Truly abysmal.

From back then, I remember French newspapers posting headlines about how Contador was not going to be ready for le Tour. That won't happen now with all the focus on Froome, the clear top favourite from now on.

Oh, there's no way around it, he was bad today. One of his worst TTs probably, if not THE worst in recent memory.

THE worst ever. I bet his TT's in the tour of 2005 were better :(

In jest or is he actually being serious? What is his reasoning for that?

I'm having a deja-vu, not sure of when. Maybe Criterium International, a few years ago?

Anyway, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. How could I not, he won his last GT.

In a newspaper last year he said he broke his training record 2 times in 2012 (already said this a few times).

Last record was just before the giro 2011 he said, i don't if i should believe that but w/e theyoungest is right.

He should be giving credit until we reach ax 3

I see, what does he mean by "leg speed"? Google translator

Doesn't seem like he has any type of source so wouldn't surprise me if it was pure BS

Also seems like AFLD has been all over contador but that is a discussion for other place.

I think pedal speed per minute.

vitesse de jambe= speed of his legs, so i'm assuming he's talking about the amount of time he can twist the pedals with his legs.

For sure this is worse than the Dauphine a few years ago, then he lost 2.16s every KM to Jani, here taking Tony out of it he lost 5.23s every KM to Dennis.

or maybe just that need needs to get real racing into his legs

now you say so, it fits better in the context since he's talking about the dauphine.

Sky weren't even that good. EBH did well, relative to expectations, but Froome, Porte and Thomas were all a bit below what I expected.

Cadence. It's not strange to ride a TT on cadence.

At this rate Alberto will be joining Cav in the grupetto at the Tour.

EVERY race since Oman he's been getting progressively worse. Nice work Brian Smith by the way.

Froome was 10 minutes of the pace in each stage at Romandie last year.

In 2011 Froome was a midpack rider in Poland. He then almost won the Vuelta.

Based on this I'm sure Contador will be for come July

Exactly, I'm pretty sure TVG would have beaten them, looks like the only potential challenger for Froome at this time...
