I classed stage 10 as the medium mountain top finish though that may have been harsh!!

I heard rumours Brailsford asked RCS to hold Friday and Saturday as indoor stages, an SRM competition on Tacxs.

Oh yeah, just put them all on stationary bikes and let them race on a virtual route.

I would totally watch it.

Yes but when it's the first mountain stage and you have galibier stelvio giau tre cime etc coming up, people hold back a little. Probably would have been different if riders had known that was their only chance.

The real problem isn't the snow (there's definitely hope that it won't snow)...the real problem is it'll be FREEZING cold (you can expect around -7°C, probably worse).
Can't see climbing those mountains in a freezer

Pretty clear Cadel has been a massive beneficiary of the neutering of this race then. Still likely to cling on to podium if the next 2 days are made easy enough, despite stinking the place out in one of the few climbing efforts.

I have no idea where the finish will be. It'll depend from the weather.

I hope Scarponi & Uran ride hard, they can get 2 and 3 on the podium. Uran in particular deserves second with his time loss towing Wiggins back.
