10:16 at the top. Looks good for the break. Some team(s) are likely to ride hard on the front of the peloton before the Bales climb starts properly but the break still has some helpers in it (eg Eisel) who will be aiming to get the break to the foot of the climb with as much lead as possible.

rogers is the rightful favourite but things are never that simple with a break this big there is always a surprise in the making

With this comfortable lead I am starting to think that Kwiatko will just keep the Rogers wheel uphill and easily win the final sprint.

break getting some reasonable space, if kwiat doesn't mess this up, he could seriously move in the gc

Teams of affected riders (especially weak TTers) will start to drive the pace in the peloton to bring down the advantage I think. Comfortable situation for Nibali.

Kwiatkowski, Rogers, Gallopin?
Kwiatkowski and Gallopin also are very good descenders on top of more-than-decent climbers.

Think that the convo at the time was about Garmin - ie 'the rest' applied to the rest of the Garmin riders rather than the rest of the breakaway.

I don't get the Kwiatkowski hype. He has dropped like a stone on every decent climb until now. If he could get over a HC without being dropped he wouldn't need to go in a break to get into the top 10.

I'm quite surprised Belkin and NetApp aren't riding to protect their top 10 placings, especially given that they don't have anyone in the break.
