Peloton at 50 seconds
Led by teams Belkin, Giant and Garmin, the main peloton is 50 seconds behind the breakaway. The Rodriguez-Van den Broeck group is at 1.15.

Giant and Belkin chasing as well apparently. Is it that difficult to get someone in the break if 12 men are going

Or maybe crosswinds yeah, that would make some sense.

I really hope some of the teams who have a rider in the break try to disturb the chase.

Probably a lot of riders caught napping thinking the break had gone for the day

Or suffering from some virus (like Porte and JVDB) or suffering from crashes. This Tour has been quite hard on the riders.

They should be helping to try and get better riders in the break to challenge Rogers and Kiryienka

I just don't understand, why aso doesn't do early coverages from stages like this, when it's pretty obvious the the forming of the escape is going to get uggly.
