yeah yeah yeah crashes bad mkay, but seriously, twitter vigilanteism to get someone sued is really lame (if such tweets indeed were made)

Like seriously what's the point? His giro is over.
Saying this for years and change the distance to 10km.
Everyone that that drops back within 10km from the finish gets the same time as the bunch. Let the sprint teams fight it out in the last 10km without gc teams interfering.
10 km is fine too, i don't see why they wouldn't do this. It's just ridiculous.
Do you have freaking xray vision???Taxus4a said:Abandon???????
he has just a hit on the elbow, Carlos Sastre and the spanisk journalist said he looks ok.
At the begining is normal you have some problems and take care about any hit, but he is ok to ride and to sleep tonight

He was on the bike just after the crash and wit relaxed face..and Carlos Sastre and Amat said he looked OK.
Dont be hystericals, he has nothing important.
Completely agree that the spectator-bashing is being taken too far. But disagree about Colli and Ruffoni - Ruffoni closed a gap that wasn't there. Yeah, brushing the barriers is a very risky place to be, but pro cyclists do it all the time. Colli barely had a lane when Ruffoni hit him, but he did and was right astride him when it happened. Ruffoni either tried to close off Colli too late or was just careless.Volderke said:Assault? Colli takes too many risks.
Ruffoni closed the gap between him and the barriers. Colli should have hit his brakes. There was like 0 inches / centimeters to pass Ruffoni, and you know what, spectators are what they are, looking at the race and not having superman reflexes. So try to avoid them, but don't blame them for being there. Cycling is a spectator sport, and if you want to change anything, you should start with putting two lines of barriers as an organizer.
I wonder who cannot put himself in the place of the guy with the camera. It's not that his camera was sticking out in the middle of the arrivée. It was not like the police guy in 1993 who hit Wilfried Nelissen (and caused Jalabert to crash, too). It was a random spectator who dit nothing wrong in particular.
If there's ice, yes ofc. House owner is responsible that there isn't any ice on the sidewalk.damian13ster said:Man, what is your deal?
THe crash would have happened without a spectator and pretty sure its the fall and not the camera that broke the arm.
You can't sue anyone over that. Or are you a kind of guy that sues the homeowner because you fell on the sidewalk next to his house?

Are you one of these idiotic fratboy spectators who takes your shirt off and run with the riders? Your apologism makes you sound like one.damian13ster said:It is often impossible to clear all of it. Just watch your goddamn feet, don't try to pass a guy when sprinting when there is 5cm of space and those things won't happen.
Cameraman is not at fault here. He wasn't a cause. Of course he should be in different spot but he didn't create the accident or injured anyone.

Which images?
Taxus4a said:Theatre again with his real lesion or true?. You never know with him. If he is not ok, he has a good option to get ready for the Tour, and do double Tour-Vuelta...and alow Kreuziger to be the leader, bepcouse ha has showed at the level of the best. if he is OK, he can lose time this weekend for the crash, but no excuses for later after the rest day.
