You. God. ... Gesink 12th  ... normally 11th if the peloton didn´t gave it away to Stybar...

Gesink (if continuing avoiding crashes) goes close to final T-10 CG

You jinxed it. He will now fall once per stage until he abandons before the Pyrenees. Either that or I agree it's end times before Paris.

Dont worry I am not Ryo. So everything safe for Gesink-baby :)

The prophecy has been sealed. There shall be no escape.

Looks like Degenkolb has started to think more seriously about the Green Jersey.

Attempt to make the stage interesting drinking game:

1 finger: every time Kirby says sinuous
1 finger: every time Kirby says inexorably
3 fingers: every time Kirby hadoes that chuckle that makes you want to slam his head in a car door when he laughs at one of his own "jokes"
1 finger: every time Kelly starts a sentence with "Well..."
Down your drink: every time Flo goes full *** in Froomehate/Contadorlove

Good luck to the Forum's livers...

...1 finger: if "Sean" doesnt answer because of the endless rant doesnt hold up whatsoever.

I don't like inconsistency. In the past they have forced people to wear yellow. Now its ok not to. FFS, make a rule and stick with it ASO.

That said, no yellow jersey is imo better than having the person who was in 2nd at the end of the stage wear it.
Can you give me an example of when the yellow jersey DNS and the next in GC wore yellow?

Hint: It never happened...

There isn't any inconsistency.
Oops, my bad, I thought I had read that they forced Lance to wear it when Zabriskie crashed out.

So does this mean its still Etixx's job to set pace today?

Alternately, for those of us watching Phil & Paul, take a sip every time Phil misidentifies a rider.

No, really, that's all. You'll be drunk in no time, I swear.

My highlight of yesterdays stage was when he said Cav was after attacking rather than Stybar

A strategy for sport fans today:
Watch the Tour, switch to tennis during commercials and when they get near to the "serving for staying/getting set" zone.
It's right now.

He needs to win today or he is out of the game.
He'll be more free than Sagan when the road kicks uphill.

If you're really brave, down your drink every time Paul identities a chateau.

Zabriskie lost the jersey in the TTT. He DNF'ed five stages later (stage 9). How is it in any way comparable to today???

It's become a 3-horse race. Surprised Kristoff did not go for it from the start of the race.

not necessarili, if the intermediate sprint is after some hill, giving sagan headstart to fight in the sprint and then help contador later won't be that big of a problem for tinkoff. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if they did it on purpose every time. The problem will be that sky, astana and movistar won't allow to do that for sagan. And on the contrary, nobody will have problems with degenkolb going into the break, nor the break(now way Degenkolb would get much further than the spring, Sagan actually coud), neither the GC teams

I guess their principal goal is to get some stages and depending on that they chose further goals.

Masiff Central stages are where Degenkolb can make up some points, I'd say.

That was his goal, but when you finish in the second group at Neeltje Jans and be a victim of a flat tire in the cobble stage, it's almost mission impossible.

I have no idea who will win, but I am absolutely sure who will be second.

MTN-Qhubeka is riding for Farrar today, not EBH. Condsidering that the last 500m averages 3% I think it's a bit stupid not to go with Eddy.

Farrar could be the greatest sprinter in the world, but we'd never know, because he never makes it to the end of a stage without running into trouble and falling behind.
