Riis: Froome was total incompetent, riding like a headless chicken. Contador about to attack, but Sagan closed him on the inside (if anybody saw that). Nibali lost time, but Andy Schleck did the same in 2011 and still came strong in the mountains.
Where do Riis' musings come from? Don't tell me he's landed a Teevee contract.

Vuillermoz was clearly the strongest on the day. He was one of the three that went early on the climb and when Froome brought them back he went again solo. Martin was beaten by a stronger rider on the day - no shame in that. Valverde coming into form a bit or just a stage that really suited him?

Froome looked a little weak there. Great recovery by Contador who finished very strong. Nibbles had a bad day
A top 10 finish on a climb that doesn't suit him yet he looks weak??

He seemed very strong leading the front pack but then struggled when guys attacked and didn't couldn't even keep front wheel. Finished a little weak yes, in comparison to guys Like Valverde and Contador who grew as the climb progressed
Yeah but thats because Froome set the pace for a big part of the climb so it shouldn't be surprising he became worse at the end.

Well it looked like he was gonna go thermo nuclear if he had the confidence to lead the whole pack...an on form Froome would have done that. Definitely must have felt a little weakness. Obviously still did very well.

Froome looked weak?
I didn’t like Froome’s performance, too. He looked much better on Huy. Losing form?
its the only hope left for some on here
Not really. I’m one of the few here who doesn’t support anybody in the peloton. I just try to be lucid, even though my 5hrs ride this morning impaired a little bit my analytical capacities

Valverde: ''I had the legs to win''

Obviousl, but you didn't. Instead like any other coward in that group tried to force Sagan to chase. Again.

Yeah, everyone out to get poor, poor Sagan. Won't someone please drag him to victory?

You know full well that's not what I am talking about. And the thing goes way beyond dragging Sagan to the win, does it not? Thing is, they didn't even bother to chase the attacks, but didn't forget to turn their heads to Sagan right away as if like, ''So, y u no chase?''. I think waiting for Sagan to chase is already in everybody's subconscious. Oh, and don't mistake me by someone biased. It takes a lot for me to go on Valverde like that.

Froome looked strong, stayed with the main group and saved energy instead of closing down the winning move.

All that work and no Garmins near the front.

Embarrassing they only had Martin there at the end.

I don't get this. They worked hard for Dan Martin and burnt all their matches. Martin had to look after himself in the finale but it was pretty much the same for everyone. If they'd let the breakaway win people would be complaining that they lost out on an almost certain win by shirking their responsibility.
