It's not exactly the climb where a team can be of huge help, but Tinkoff will be spent before that tricky run-in to the ascent.

Alberto to break Horner's record time on Pena Cabarga

I think he will win today, and it is possible to break that record.. it depends of the wind, tht day was mostly of the climb tailwind.

Horner is the better riderI ever seen on climbs with hard slopes, but Contador is really good in a hard 6 km climb. He is in the shape of his life, and I think after the rest day he will be stronger (gettiing better shape and out of his crash

You mean better then Contador? Because Purito says hello too ;)

I agree with the fact Alberto should be stronger ans stronger from now on. Especially in the Aubisque stage he should be a monster.
Normally Purito is the best, but that Horner would've beaten Purito on any murito slope ever, had we seen him more than once.

If Movistar finds out Tinkoff can't anymore, they will surely invest a few people to catch them.

Definitely. They probably think that Quintana can get 2nd win as well. If it happens Tinkoff has already done most of the work so Movistar would not need to spend a lot energy.

No need to catch them but just keep them under control, it's a steep uphill finish after all.
... and the pace always growing before a climb, everyone will naturally push hard for founding a place in front of the bunch

Break is being caught too quickly

Why does it matter? At this point in the race it's irrelevant.

Tinkoff just needs to ride hard until the climb, there's no one in the team who can do a good pace on the climb anyways

x1, I'd like to see a lone escapee try his luck with 15 km to go when the break is caught

Tinkoff is riding a hard pace in order to isolate Contador

You mean on the climb? He will be isolated anyway.

Kudos for Tinkoff though, really didn't think they had this power.

Yeah, Contador will be isolated regardless and Movistar will do the pace making on the climb regardless. Chapeau for giving us some good racing, unfortunately, I'll have to channel my inner Quintana now so can't watch. :(
