Someone far stronger than them showed them up todaySKSemtex said:I am just said we coud not see "mano a mano" Sagan vs. GVA on Paterberg But seeing GVA out of saddle so early tells me this was not his day today.
Highly surprising that Dutch commentators are chauvinistic!GuyIncognito said:While the Sporza guys' nationalism is annoying, they're nothing compared to NOS. NOS is quite literally unbearable for me due to sheer chauvinism
It wasn't bad, but Gilbert even asked the team car to keep him out of the wind, which the Sporza commentators recited and had a laugh about. While at G-W they screamed bloody murder when the Giant team car rode besides the chasers behind Van Avermaet and Keukeleire for a few seconds.Brullnux said:Billie said:lol ffs some people complaining about car pacing.
Kill me now
Yeah I know it wasn't even that bad at all

I dunno, he was very tired in the last 4k.Poursuivant said:I genuinely don't think the crash would have changed anything, Gilbert was insanely strong today.
Filippo Simeoni. It was the main thing he was known for before Lance.GuyIncognito said:Jancouver said:What a way to celebrate!

Also LOL at Sagan crashing out because he tried to ride in the gully. Them's the breaks karma offers.

Gilbert did try to find the motorbikes a couple of times but that's nothing that anyone wouldn't do. Realistically, I am OK with some motor pacing as long as it's not ridiculous.LaFlorecita said:It wasn't bad, but Gilbert even asked the team car to keep him out of the wind, which the Sporza commentators recited and had a laugh about. Yes it is. I don't know how you can't see that.Flamin said:Irondan said:GVA now realizes that Phil Gilbert was always better than him in the cobbled classics...
That's simply not true at all.
I never watch them at all. Besides the nationalism they are also completely clueless, they never recognize the riders and are downright frustrating to listen to. I want to shoot myself in the head when I hear Ducrot's voice on TV. I'd rather watch Eurosport with the 10000 ad breaks.GuyIncognito said:While the Sporza guys' nationalism is annoying, they're nothing compared to NOS. Did't they even fine Sumeoni fo doing that?GuyIncognito said:Libertine Seguros said:Filippo Simeoni. It was the main thing he was known for before Lance.GuyIncognito said:Jancouver said:What a way to celebrate!

Thanks, I could only remember he dedicated it to the September 11th victims.

With Sagan helping GVA it might have come back.
