???? Who is leading, I'm watching a stream that says Scarponi.......is it delayed?
Pinot was 6 secs behind and he got 6 secs bonus for finishing 2nd. So they're tied on time.markene2 said:Carols said:Cance > TheRest said:Surprised to see that Pinot is the new leader. Thought Scarponi would remain the leader due to his win yesterday?

I seem to recall that USA Pro Cycling Challenge had a different rule. In case of equal time, the leader was the guy who finished higher on the last stage.
Anderis said:tobydawq said:
Surprised to see that Pinot is the new leader. Well, as in all races, the sum of stage placings is the tie breaker in the event of equality of time.

Of course Pippo was just chilling at the back of the bunch.![]()
It was a pretty cold day (around 5 °C and no sunshine down in the valley) and the cold wind made it even worse, but we're in the mountains and things like that can always happen, sometimes even durning summer.
Tomorrow I'll be there at the start, I'll try to talk to a few of the riders.
The lead out for Pinot was one ugly thing that no cycling school will ever use as material. It wasn't the plan. And then Thibaut didn't see Dennis on his left until it was way too late. Still, I'm super happy that Pinot didn't just sit for a same time result. He went for the win, he looks strong. We'll see what happens tomorrow. But I like the build up to the Giro and the attitude.movingtarget said:Dennis got the big gear turning over for an easy win. Pinot leads on a count back.
