Impressive display from QS on how to blow up the Sky train. Landa was just too strong.

Look out- the Mas is the next Contador hype train is gaining steam. Looked much stronger than MA Lopez. Unless Lefevre wastes his talent as a lead out man for a sprinter (see stunted development of Verona). OTOH, Quick Step is quietly building a quality GC team with Martin, Mas, and de la Cruz.

Anton always performing in Burgos!

And as always, finishing very strongly on the end. He was nowhere to be seen when the group of six went clear, but paced himself superbly and finished few seconds behind Superman Lopez. He seems to be again in the same shape of last year, let's see if illnesses don't affect him again at the Vuelta.

No doubt. Just hope Lefevre plays his cards right on this. He's got a real stable of young GC talent, and a podium contender with Martin.

And Jungels (and maybe Alaphilippe, if he develops toward that speciality).

Quick Step must have some of the biggest talent pool for U25 GC specialists.

That finish. Valverde-esque!

The future of Spanish cycling doesnt look so bad after all now. Rosón and especially Más seem to be the real deals.
Hm. I reserve my opinion until I see them in a greater field.

But what the ***. Jetse Bol 9th?

Since when is he a climber. I'm momentarily confused

Still. Absolutely flabbergasted. Never knew he had it in him.

Interesting fact, when he became professional in 2012, Rabobank chose Bol over Tom Dumoulin, who had to stay in the CT squad. As a result, Dumoulin went to Sunweb instead.

Absolutely amazing how good the insight at Rabobank was
