I think guys like Kwiato, Valverde or Alaphilippe will be dropped by climbers.
Nibali, Dumo, Poels, Moscon? - I don't think so.
Simon or Adam FTW, it would be great, but I wouldn't be surprised by Bardet, Quintana, Roglic or.. Majka  win.
would be great but they need to make race hard fór that, in colombia I more believe in Uran, Quintana Is not good enough.
So far it looks great. 130 km & 15 min mean it could be hard race on final gaps.

Don't understand why people think Woods has a chance. Such a bad descender won't win even though i would love to see it. I also think Jungels will be dangerous and a good outsider. Another good outsider could be Kreuziger. This race has been his goal for a while, he is good at one day races and a good climber, while he looked good in Canada. My last outside bet is Rein Tarranamae, Just a gut feeling

I was thinking about Taaramae as well. He's on pretty good form and is unlikely to be marked in any way. Mostly though, I want to hear the commentators exclaim "Today Taaramae has reigned!", or "The reign of Taaramae begins!".

Stannard leading the peloton for the Yates bros.

The race is still young but aren't Italy supposed to be the ones who lead the chase? I have not seen them all day.

Why Italy? They don't have a big favorite, Nibali is not in top form, and Moscon is hardly a big favorite. France, Spain, UK should be at the front...

Are the Norwegian national team really sponsored by UAE?

Laengen rides on UAE, so he might just be wearing some of his regular kit.
There is a UAE logo on the jersey though

Most federations allow your trade team sponsor to be put on the National shorts I believe.
From what I can see, some countries have a jersey only, and riders are using their team bibshorts, others (including Norway) have provided a full kit

Norway, as most teams are, will have many riders wearing skinsuits so logos get printed on top and bottom half too bespoke to each riders trade sponsor. Riders that either don't like wearing skinsuits or Federation don't provide them, will use the Federation top ordered in bulk without trade team per rider and then the rider through his team will/might order his shorts to match separately or use trade shorts and so then you get their trade team sponsor on shorts, but not Federation generic jersey.

And Colombia. Unless their plan is to attack the final climb en masse.

Looks like no coverage in the UK till 1445 now, due to women's football?

It's on the red button - has been all day.
