I don't think anyone is forgetting Almeida. Some guys are forgetting that Almeida is second and he is really good!

Yep. Will be reslaughtered in the last week.
Not a bad ride in the end if you look at the rest of GC contenders. Not a good ride for Vlasov
He must hope that the Olympics will be held next year, so he can justify the new bike.Nice win for Ganna. No competition for him. Representing the WC jersey with pride!!!

He was told there were stages after today and there was this GC thing.Wtf was that from Fuglsang
If anything I think this has set us up for a really exciting race.
Thomas was always going to ride defensively but now the others really need to get at him.
Now we have a whole pack of great climbing talent who need to get at him for major time already on an incredible parcours and without strong teams to support them.
Meanwhile Yates only knows how to ride aggressively so he will undoubtedly attack Thomas but he can also be a platform for the other guys to try work with or jump to in the early weeks.
Call me an optimist but I think we're in for some awesome stages and they're going to really stretch G.
Can't wait
In before random domestiques of Sky suddenly turn into elite climbers.Good thing Ineos' mountain train is very weak, unless Thomas is the strongest climber in the race, odds are it will be mayhem. Possibly already on the Etna.
Vlasov started 45 minutes before Fuglsang, Nibali and Kruijswijk. The wind was faster at that time.Yeah, he must have been one of the first to suffer the condition change it seems
Please take reasonable takes somewhere else.Well, can't say I'm happy about this result. The giro is obviously far from over but that was still a hug blow for some contenders.
This race is really gonna miss voodoo memes if it keeps going like this. Again. This race is really missing Remco Evenepoel, he could rival Geraint Thomas in the ITT's.
I hope not... I want to see some carnage and snow and blizzard in the Alps... I'm fully expecting a flashback to Andy Hampsten's 1988 Gavia climb! This is 2020 and this is the Giro. Half the high mountain stages probably get cancelled due to bad weather.
At least his team would have let him start earlier as they did with Almeida. This race is really missing Remco Evenepoel, he could rival Geraint Thomas in the ITT's.
Race over for Nibali and co.
Thomas has this in the bag, unless Yates can spring up a surprise. The wind has ruined it.
And Sagan is off to a good start in the Giro. He has the first 2 points, even if in the wrong jersey competition![]()
