They don't want to help Quick Step at all throughout the race. Which actually is good news. Just not today. If Quick Step doesn't want to chase. No need for them to do instead for an uphill sprint!

They'll attack left and right from Wednesday on.

Gran Sasso d'Italia 100% lives from the fact, Pantani won on top of it in 1999. Otherwise it's a mediocre climb. Sportive seen. The scenery is beautiful.

It's going to be super prestigious for Vacek & Corratec though. Even for Bais & Petilli.

So I'm happy with the breakaway taking the stage if it happens. If it means that Grand Bernardo-Croix de Coeur-Crans Montana is raced offensively then
Mediocre climb?
So i'm right. This route of the Giro is a joke. Another boring stage.

I am really dissapointed in Ineos honestly.

I also just hate the trend that GC riders (apart from Pogacar or Vingegaard or someone who feels he's miles ahead of the others uphill) just don't ride for stage wins in GTs. All too scared for someone else to take some boni seconds.

If they intend to do what i think they want to do, it only makes sense for them to hold off as long as possible. Their best chances are to wait as long as possible, while having the most options to attack. The sooner they show their hand, the sooner all their other riders will likely get exposed.
