Sorry it's late: went out shortly after the stage finished.
Stage 2
La Fates have spoken (yes, I know, but it's late and I'm not particularly sober)
Green pts
How many stages will pass before we have a stage winner that somebody picked? Tomorrow's favourite, Philipsen, is also a candidate for the Collective Ignorance team.
Today
Standings
Everyone with S Yates and Hindley has 57 points, making a 12 way tie for the lead.
Main Game
Riders' projected points can change downwards, so points can be lost as well as won Vingegaard moved up 3 on GC and 5 in the polka dots; S Yates dropped 1 place in GC and 4 in the sprints classification). I'll mention each day only the main changes (although some days it requires very little to be main) and only from among the riders chosen by at least one team.
Changes today
The top 5 are the 5 Vingegaard teams. They couldn't afford many other riders who would have gained significant points yesterday, so haven't lost many today.
By the same token, the Pogacar team scored even better than them.
Carapaz being a DNF only costs his teams 20 points on this table, but the real cost is of what he might have got.
Standings
All the teams near the top are there because of Yates (when I mention him here, assume I mean Simon, as Adam wasn't picked at all) and therefore end up in the red today, but Rufs loses considerably fewer, mainly because of Rodriguez and Teuns. Amis Velo is the highest placed who made profit today.
I should be able to post at a more reasonable hour tomorrow. On sprint stages, the stage points tend to dominate the changes in the main game (as well as obviously in the Green jersey classification).
