Thanks for the great insight!

I just want to thank everyone for their coverage and posts on the Vuelta a Columbia. I've learned so much about the great South American pro's and their team's and it has been wonderful having so much in depth knowledge of this great event. I only wish there were video footage available of the mountain stages. It sounds like a real free-for-all.

CyclingNews is on top of the VaC once again ...

Henao: “I had some problems today, but tomorrow I hope to be better for the stage,” Henao said of the stomach problems he was having during the stage. “Rujano attacked so many times on the final climb, but I was lucky to have two strong teammates in Sevilla and [Jannier] Acevedo that can control the stage.”

Sevilla: "Today Duarte and Cano were very tough to keep up with,” Sevilla said. “The most important thing for me was to finish ahead of or alongside of Rujano.”

Henao will need to ride smart and be ready for constant attacks by Rujano if he wants to maintain his lead going into Sunday’s time trial. One thing the Indeportes Antioquia rider has over the Venezuelan Rujano is that Henao is from nearby Rio Negro and knows the Alto de las Palmas climb very well.

“Tomorrow is very hard and I hope the team has a good stage,” Henao said. “We need to remember that it is about winning the Vuelta, not the stage.”

henao has inmense personality and also sounds not just here as a true leader. duarte is the same thing, uran unfortunately doesn't I sometiems think it would've been better for uran to have stayed in colombia like these guys to get really mature

Here we go

Gonzalez looks awful on his bike

he is the cousin of chepe gonzalez, who won number of races in europe including tour and kom's in giro.

henao rides his first ever vuelta colombia, 22 years old and he's winning it, this has never been done before and surly he's a prospect to watch he'll be detined to do great things. amazing!
