HEY. I said in the OP, if you don't like sprintfests then stay the hell away. I would like to have a thread about a flat race without hundreds of 'Oh god I hate HTC and flat races boring boring blah blah blah' posts for once.

Dunno, Im expecting nothing from Sky. Arvesen, EbH, Hayman, Hunt, Flecha and Wiggins will be thinking about Roubaix. Leaves Hendo and CJ to go it alone.

No Wiggins - Stannard's replacing him

Reschedule a meeting for the most boring race in spring? Don't.

have you been in a meeting?
watching any cycling race will be better than your best ever meeting...

as for the win...

JJ on his Venge

Nice to see someone besides ACF has confidence in Crawler Kristoff.
I would definitely put Keukcumber in that team, he's due.

We could have a sweep stake to guess which km Cav crashes in.

Libertine Seguros will be getting very excited over the prospect of this spectacle, tomorrow.
Right up his street.

(I shall be watching, nevertheless)

i dont mind a work-related (im in ict) meeting, it wouldn't be more boring than the scheldeprijs, at least i dont fall asleep in a meeting. I would during the scheldeprijs, except for the final kilometer maybe :)

But falling asleep when hearing Wuyt's voice is not a bad thing.

If I want to take a Siësta I just watch some cycling race and fall asleep in my couch.

Those three. Pick the best sprinters for this one. I'd have those three ahead of a couple you have picked.

(Of course, I don't know the points system of your game)

Back to more serious matters. I feel Cav has to show up for this one otherwise questions will be asked, even by faithful fans like me.

If he doesnt win a single race until Copenhagen and then pulls it off, the season will have been a tremendous success.

Hell get a few critiscisms and it might even **** him off enough to show a **** you sign to the camera again, but time flies and cometh the Giro and cometh the Tour, all will be forgotten.

That said i think hes a good bet to win tomorrow.

It would certainly save a season. But he's rarely been visible this season. He needs to get back to the winning habit. He went into the Tour last year without it and it may have cost him green. I'm backing him for the win tomorrow though.

Haha I chuckled at both of these jokes. Well played, J. :)

I'll be streaming this in my cubicle tomorrow, sprintfest or not. Not anticipating a very productive morning, but e-mails and spreadsheets will still be around long after the finish, so it's important to prioritize!

Hoping that Tommeke gets another win here this spring. Other than that, I'd like to see someone like a Vacansoleil or Tommy V get it from 50km out. (Is he even riding? /toolazytocheck)

I predict Cavendish will go Tour de Suisse kamakaze and Boonen will go down. It seems like "boonen will go down" was a pretty good bet last year so I'll try again this year. Farrar likely gets caught up in it and EBH gets the win.

Romain Feillu FTW.

Chavendish and Farrar will tangle each other, bringing down Boonen, Blythe and CHicchi. Feillu will bunny-hop the chaos and lead Bozic over the line for a Vacansoleil 1-2. Kristoff will roll in for third and ACF will wet himself, have a heart attack and move to Europe so he can have his babies...

Or Chav, Farrar, Chicchi and the universe will remain on an even and boring keel.

If Kristoff wins, the forum will go into meltdown!!!!

If Kristoff and I make babies then it will be a highly intelligent and superior physiological baby that there ever has been.
