He pulled the peloton for 3 or 4km after coming back. There is no way a genuinely dropped rider has that much left.

He was "dropped" between the climbs, after looking around for several hundred metres. If he wasn't getting weird info through the radio, I'm a bloody dutch man.

He was allowed to play his own card, until the point when he was dropped, no point him chasing in no mans land for 6th, better to use his last dregs of energy to pull Kreuziger a little.

I think only Gilbert and Sanchez got me points today, with Monfort getting a couple as well. Going to lose a lot of places to those with the Schlecks

Right table now updated and because I'm too tired to fix the spreadsheet for upload I've added a the LBL column so you can see what you all got. Not much difference in scores but those who didn't pick Gilbert ftw are hurting now. :D

As for Giro stages, unless people has any major objections, it'll the those proposed 5.

Everyone (apart from Taiwan, whose team was almost entirely made up of freebies) scored at least something today, with Andy Schleck being on the squad of half the participants, Uran on 7 lists and Gilbert on 6.

Massive scoring today (226 points, but still not quite in the top 5) by Ewbles (Gilbert, Andy and Kreuziger); Spare Tyre and Cobra both also had the 170 point Phil'n'Andy pairing, and Marcus 135 had three of the top 6 (Andy, Uran and Sorensen) for 131 points. But most tellingly, both the top two had both Gilbert and Uran, and therefore 150 points each, so they extended their lead over the field, although the top 5 remain in the same order.

Top 5
Ingsve 880 (Gilbert 356, Goss 203, Boonen 140, Urán 107, Wiggins 74)
Waterloo 775 (Gilbert 356, Cancellara 236, Urán 107, Wiggins 74, Di Luca 2)
Jaylew 677 (Goss 203, T Martin 114, Sánchez 163, Urán 107, Tondó 90)
Hitch 625 (Cancellara 236, Boonen 140, Urán 107, A Schleck 72, Matthews 70)
Kazistuta 620 (Gilbert 356, Boonen 140, D Martin 72, Cunego 26, Freire 26)

I got Gilbert and Frank right.

Had this been Fleche, I would have scored some serious points.

With the way Gilbert is looking, if he keeps it up til the end of the year, he can very well en up at the top of the rankings.

My good surprise for today was Juan Pablo Suarez's second place at the Vuelta a la Roja.

I plummeted down the table.

forgetting my picks really cost me. would have had gilbert right at least

Same here. I doubt I would have gotten anyone but Gilbert, but that's still 16 points I missed out on.

Looking forward to the stage races now

Why is everyone in random order now?

Because at 1am in the morning I missed sorting the table trying to fix all my other sleep-deprived errors. :D

I'll sort (lol pun) it all out now. Have to upload the spreadsheet anyway

I'm back and so are the updates which means that this is update 15.

I don't remember that much about the leaderboard from before I went on vacation to be honest. I see a few new faces in the top 10, but it's still pretty much the same people competing for the top places. Therefore I'm just gonna list the top 10:

1. AAC1983 - 5079 points
2. ingsve - 4945
3. Handbrake - 4837
4. The Hitch - 4721
5. theyoungest - 4711
6. LukeSchmid - 4672
7. Pcutter - 4664
8. Gotland - 4551
9. Waterloo_Sunrise - 4330
10. MADRAZO - 4300

Looking good:
These guys are looking up to be some of my best investments, and I have little negative to say about them.

Galimzyanov
Seeldraeyers
Poels

Bittersweet performances:
They did well or even great, objectively, but I can't help but think they could have scored more points with a bit of luck, a better-timed peak, or no injuries.

Gesink
Van Avermaet
Madrazo
Terpstra
Martens

Utter failures:
What the hell are these guys doing?

Oss
Sicard (injured, I know)
Bole
Santambrogio
Soler

Out:
Out.

Riccò
Pellizotti

We have the great grand tour game, the CQ ranking game, the prediction game etc, but here is another game, a manager game for the Giro d'Italia.

Oh, you also forgot the great "I can't believe they haven't made this cycling prediction game up yet" game. :p

Nelson Oliveira (6/150/114)

he has been getting some half decent results (mostly if not all in ITT's) but he has only been racing smaller races. he rode the fleche wallone but he is to young and not the kind of rider for that race.
