i will let it slide but not i am not "****ing with you" how much you love contador isn't cycling related so either discuss it on the cafe section or with your shrink.

same goes for everyone, i have been letting this kind of discussing continue because i thought it would be gone a couple days after the vuelta, but it isn't going anywhere so i will have to take action.

this is extremely annoying even for a big contador fan like myself no wonder most people with neutral opinions on contador don't post here, they just don't feel like reading the endless ramblings of a fangirl searching for the occasional decent post with some actual meaningful content in it.

between if you disagree with my decision contact an admin and if he agrees with you then you can continue to do whatever makes you happy and i will be ok with it.

if you do contact an admin please try to look for one other then susan since it's her birthday week so she is taking some deserved time off.

A girl? How do you know "she" is a girl? If I wanted to kiss some girl's feet I reckon I'd go somewhere else, not to a cycling forum .

I love this forum because of all the polemic it generates. You should be ready to deal with trolls, fanboys, haters, experts, .... That's what a forum is. It's not real life and "she" might not speak English properly and some of its subtle nuances could be a bit blurred for her, semantically speaking, obviously. Hence her language slips.

To be fair to Flo she was given this thread (which used to be titled some along with "I love Alberto" iirc), so she didnt spam other threads with her love. Other ppl began to debate in general about Contador and later on the thread was renamed to "Contador appreciation thread" and later to "Contador discussion thread" (again iirc). So maybe we just need a new thread for her for the love or she gets this one and we can have another more neutral Contador thread. I agree that its not good that both are mixed in this thread.

I agree on that the insulting part is to much, but he actually got a point that this thread was started as an "I love alberto thread" and that Susan (iirc) had told Flo that she should make such a thread and keep her nonsense out of the other threads

after weeks of spaming every single thread with contador related stuff she was banned for a while due to ignoring the many warnings she had been given for off-topic posting.then she asked to create this thread for herself which she was allowed simply to try and make the rest of the forum bearable for the normal poster.

if you remember at the time the appreciation and depreciation threads had come to fame and every single high profile cyclist had one of each. the thing was neither of those threads was actually what it was supposed to be because people simply discussed the rider talking about positive and negative aspects of the rider on both threads. so in order to put all this discussion about each cyclist one 1 thread, the mods simply decided to merge the appreciation and depreciation threads of each rider (or simply closing one of them) and name them discussion threads.

ofc at the time contador a depreciation thread not many people used, and this had become a normal discussion thread so since there are no exceptions on this forum and every1 is treated equally, like i made clear when i changed this thread tittle, this thread and LaFlorecita wouldn't be the exception to the rule and this thread was also renamed.

also i should make it clear that at the time LaFlo's obsession hadn't reached this level, while back then she would post a few pictures of contador from time to time, she would aslo post relevant news and engage in some productive discussions. something she doesn't now as she prefers to spend her time discussing his underwear . . .

so just like i told her, if she wants to go that way she should take it to the café section which isn't a cycling discussing forum.

Second, I apologize to the members of the cycling forum who come to this thread and find themselves reading "silliness/spam'. I'm actually new to this, but that isn't an excuse. So, I do apologize for my behavior - sorry

funny enough i just browsed this thread looking for the general reaction when i changed the tittle and among the several posts i had to delete from you, you did claim you asked susan for this thread on more then one.

also you did get a ban around that time if it was before or after the name change i don't remember
