There could be only one consequence of not getting permission, as per Oscar Freireice&fire said:The last 6kms of Aitana from Tudons summit are closed to the public. Strange. I always thought they didn't like each other. And not only because I can't stay Rodriguez.TommyGun said:Very nice touch! https://twitter.com/albertocontador/status/762974222016708608

I always thought they got on, but AC and Piti did not.Jakub said:Strange. I always thought they didn't like each other. And not only because I can't stay Rodriguez.TommyGun said:Very nice touch! https://twitter.com/albertocontador/status/762974222016708608

AC and Piti: since when? There was a story of them having a secret coallition in Dauphine 09 or 10.LaFlorecita said:It is true that Valverde and Alberto have a bit of a rivalry going on, but it's not like they're enemies, off the bike they get along "fine"
Don't think there was every any animosity between Purito and Alberto
Supposedly since the 2012 Vuelta. I can't believe this is news to you, it has been really evident in the last years and it has been discussed ad infinitum in press, on social media on even on this forum.Jakub said:AC and Piti: since when? I remember on that 2012 Vuelta stage, Murito was full of praise for Contador, saying he was honored to have played a role in such an amazing race.LaFlorecita said:It is true that Valverde and Alberto have a bit of a rivalry going on, but it's not like they're enemies, off the bike they get along "fine"

Remember when Purito took off after Alberto asked him at the Giro -08 to take the bonus secs from Ricco on the final climb, before the final TT. Purito was not a GC threat, but did it. That was so classyTommyGun said:Very nice touch! https://twitter.com/albertocontador/status/762974222016708608

And that was right after he lost the leaders jersey on Fuente De. No, it is not a news, although I don't think I read much about it. I found suprising their Dauphine coallition, that's why I asked when did their relationship change.LaFlorecita said:Supposedly since the 2012 Vuelta. Purito is a great guy but he will remember for being a alberto's wheelsucker (at least by me). That stage in mende was hilarious but contador took his revenge in giro 2011 (when he offered a victory to tiralongo)Jakub said:No, it is not a news, although I don't think I read much about it. As for Purito - I rememeber a TdF10 stage in which they finished together and since that I can't stand him, because he didn't take a pull on the flat before finish and they certainly lost some seconds. I think I assumed Bertie can't stand him either because of that.
And the history of Valverde and Rodriguez wheelsucking Bertie and sprinting in the end is as long as ****. That's why I am so suprised by Bertie's tweet.
