You all know who he is and why he is the biggest active legend in cycling.
The one who can knock down his opponents on the way to the finish line, who can ride them off of his wheel or outsprint by the need?

I'm not sure about this (see what I've said before and my comment below), but tactically he's a legend in my book. Of all current riders, I rate him the 2nd best.

Interesting...

You are probably trolling in mirburo's view since you don't praise velasco. baah atleast she doesnt call you a troll. :D
I do think highly of Alberto. He has the potential to be the best stage racer in history. Tom on the other hand already is the best on cobbles in the history of cycling.

In the history? So he's better than de vlaeminck or Merckx?

Check out De Vlaeminck's results in paris-roubaix. That races stays the purest race for cobbles specialists. And he was in the same era with the likes of Merckx and Goodefroot (I butchered that name :D)

No way Boonen is a bigger legend than Contador. You're talking about Legends, right? Being remembered.

If Contador attacks excitement comes up. Attacking from 100 km. Winning a GT after being absent. Trying to do the double. Trying to dominate each stage race. Always go FTW. Don't find any excuses.

"I fall, no problem i'll attack and get the time back"

Boonen is an amazing talent and rider but he's not the biggest legend in the peloton. That's just silly.

And he's 2 years younger than Boonen btw ;)

If Cancellara had more years like 2010, there's no way Boonen would have won as much as he's done now. And stage racing are much more demanding than classics. It's much harder to win every GT you enter than classics, as there are much more opportunities to win. Boonen also has to win MSR to be a true legend, it's a large gap in his palmares. Even Cancellara has won it, while Boonen as a sprinter should perhaps have won it multiple times by now. Contador for me is a much better rider, he has overcome many difficult periods in his career, which makes him imo a true champion.

Thanks but I guess Saxo needs Roman's points, so he should race for the GC too.
He said in an interview that his form was below what he had hoped for. He said that he could get a 10-15th place in the GC in Paris-Nice, but that he then rather would help Alberto win. I think Roche will score some points in P-N with a 5-8th place in the GC.
