Basso suggests Sky doping? Likens them to Armstrong/USPS

There's a special feeling in this team this year, there's a buzz in the air which is motivating me.

Michele back on board?

I will be surprised to see Porte drop Basso this time.

Actually all of that is quality stuff, Froome/Porte level trolling from a convicted doper riding on arguably the dirtiest team over several years.

Yeah its pretty funny. The only thing missing was "more than 10 years ago"

If Basso is indeed back then the giro is gonna be good. I still think he is comfortable riding clean(ish) though but it would be fun.

Good news skybots! Basso has now moved on from the dark era and entered the new clean sky era.

Or a mafioso might say:

"People think we talk about murder, money laundering and extortion all the time. Not so. We discuss knitting and double rainbows and never even mention Gotti"

Not discussing doping says nothing about the current use of drugs. Certain cyclists seem convinced this "past" talk is a magic discussion ender. Please!

Agree, the past talk seems to be just be a way to stop people form asking or talking about doping. Brings to mind the old saying, those who do not learn from history or doomed to repeat it.

In the same way, if you just say and take the attitude that doping is something of the past, then we'll be doomed to see problems with it in the present and future.

Luckily we have progressed.

Armstrong Era - Doped.
Basso Era - Only planned to dope.
Frigo Era - Did not plan to dope but came prepared just in case.
Voigt Era - Thought about doping but told brain to shut up. And buried the dope like a secret treasure hunt
Froome Era - Too busy fighting off lions to think about doping.
ftfu.

imagine those truffle hounds that find all the dope that jens buried on the side of the road in france
