Now I feel bad for not remembering that one! (I didn't even realize Saxo has had the Swedish Road Champ)
I like it but that's just because I like Saxo's way of designing champion jerseys.
As for the jersey-ception, you mean the fact that it could look like the jersey from this season (well, before Tinkoff became a co-sponsor) with the Swedish cross added?

Saxo is the best, they have style, and the color are bright and stand out. The Danish jersey, like the one Matti Breschel had, with the matching red and white helmet, are excellent. And black shorts gives a nice contrasting element to the jersey I think.

Ah, I meant that it looks (to me) like he is wearing another national jersey under the outer one, if you click the picture you may be seeing it too (or else I am just dumb).

I know this is a TT kit but how cool would that be as a national jersey?

It would be great. Even better as a jersey for the UK Olympic team (the current UK team Olympic jerseys have to be amongst the worst).

I can only agree. A full small to medium-flag (with colors right) in the white below of the front, vertical and slightly larger on the back.

Not much you can do with it considering the design of the original jersey.

could try something like this with some stars added to the blue.

Lol, he's really becoming Sky's *****. It's like he has no say what he wants to do in his career.

Where the **** have you pulled that drivel from.

For all you know, he probably chose the design himself

Although it's not as audacious as his previous TT kit the fact that the rest of his team wear a black jersey means he'll stick out like a sore thumb; which surely is the point of having a national jersey?

As I feared Edvald's new jersey is just like the ITT-suit he used this year. It's awful and a disgrace IMO.

That's quite ugly. What's up with all the minimalistic national jerseys? Make a completely white jersey and put a small version of the country's flag on the middle...how original.

Why didn't they just go with this?

Let's see, one of the most talented cyclists in this peloton is on domestique duty more than half of the time for Cavendish and Wiggins.

As for the jersey, fair enough, but I honestly doubt he chose the design himself.

It is better but still two wrongs (maybe more depending on your preferences) with that kit:
1. Shorts should be black!
2. The collar should not be a continuation of the flag-design (here: the blue cross), it should be the color of the field of the flag (see the Saxo-jerseys, here: red)!

Of course he most likely didn't choose the design himself, but I have no idea what that has to do with his career.

On the jersey itself, it sucks. I was hoping for, like others have said, one like The God of Thunder briefly wore.
