I can confirm to you I never spoke with "60 Minutes." I have no idea where they got their information.
As I've said in the past, I continue to be disappointed that people are talking about the past in cycling instead of the future.
As for the substance of anything in the "60 Minutes" story, I cannot comment on anything relating to the ongoing investigation.

MarkvW said:Assuming an indictment. Assuming that the doping evidence is relevant to any indicted offense. You're thinking too far ahead! Let's enjoy the moment. Plus: The sponsorship hemorrhage is about to begin! I'll enjoy that.
the delgados said:What, exactly, do the "media" have to answer for?
I think the media have done a pretty good job of exposing the Armstrong myth (See Kimmage, Walsh, the Wall Street Journal, etc. etc.)
Don't ever expect a beat reporter from a newspaper or cycling web site to take on the cause of doping. That's just foolish.
Andreu says that 60 Minutes approached her and Frankie about the story they were working on about Armstrong and she initially told them to "take a hike."
"I asked them, "Where have you been all these years?" Everyone has been so gentle with Lance. I grilled them."
Andreu says that once she realized they were serious and had done their homework, both she and Frankie agreed to be interviewed. It's not clear what, if any, material from their interviews will appear on Sunday's show.

xmoonx said:True that, but this sport is BS anyhow. If LA loses who wins, Jan, Basso, Klodi…. LOL
Well said. Besides being the legal and honourable thing, it's also a smart thing to be telling the truth right now.Alpe d'Huez said:This has to be the coup de gras. I don’t know how LA can survive this.
I’m not surprised that George testified this way, at all. He’s slowly turning himself into a businessman with his clothing line, and for the last five years has been trying to find capital investors for his Pla d'Adet resort. Tell the truth now, and he can likely come out okay, go down with the ship and it’s likely a really long ride to the bottom.

Sorry, the board is unavailable at the moment while we are conducting a major upgrade.
We will be back prior to 8pm PST
Polish said:I just thought it would be improper to disclose the grand jury testimony of one witness to another witness, so they won't compare notes to make sure they are not caught up in a lie. Maybe Lance will not be a witness? duh?
Anyway, it would seem the indictments will be coming down soon.
Be a shame to waste all these townspeople with torches lol.
The Feds realize this I would think...
