Tinkov isn't that big of an idiot. He likes Bjarne, he won't announce his ban as if it's a massive win for him.

I agree. And he certainly wouldn't be touting it about now. Besides, hardly biggest ever cycling news, is it? Even in Tinkoff's world.

All Rasmussen had on him was that he saw him getting injected with cortisone (which I think he had a bogus TUE for) and that he rejected 'helping' him when he showed up for a race over the 50%. Judged by that, I doubt many riders would have much on Riis, and I very much doubt the likes of Basso, Cancellara, Voigt, Schlecks, Contador, Julich, Breschel, Kroon and O'Grady will testify. I think it's only Zabriskie and VdV who would testify, but I'm not sure how much they would want to tell.

Close to nothing I guess. Old news, sure you know. But yeah says " no doping program at CSC"

And really what motivation would they have to tell more now.. No, it should be from some where else I think.. But not really sure where exactly..

You'd think the UCI would lack motivation as there's probably some troublesome ties with some of the other doping programs, like Fuentes finally coming to light. It's always cash and taxes that trips these guys up....the only motivation of bureaucrats is more budget. Bjarne did do a good job of cashing in on his interests selling the team to a Russian and probably can conserve some of that cash (Oleg may want some of it back if Alberto has to take a hiatus). Hopefully he and Ms. Riis look better in Speedos than Johan (try not to think of that image) but they should call Lance up and meet him on the same tropical island. They could jointly afford a cabana and a bartender that calls them "Champ" everytime they come for their Mojitos.

Yep, which is why I find it so hard to figure out who the witness(es) are, if they are going to ban him. They've got dirt on him, but do they have anything within the last decade? I doubt it.

Riis was happy with the CIRC rapport. Happy to speak with them since it was constructive and their was no personal attacks:p

The future as always, is more important than what happened in the grim past:eek:

Also he does not believe that 90% is doping.

To me he seems pretty confident and would not bet much money, that this is guy about to go down...

But I guess we will know soon with the ADD report. Since it is ready for printing now, it should certainly be published within a year or so:D

Pending on them finding a suitable font and the price of printer ink. :p

Oleg Tinkov on Twitter today:

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

whaterver that means...

Whatever it is, I sure hope they clean it up before UWCT in September.

If I remember correctly he has posted that thing before.. Maybe even more than once...

But with ADD report coming up very soon it could be a different story...

A team owner knowing as much as the federation at the same time as the federation?

It actually makes sense.

Apparently Riis suspended by Tinkov....

ADD report coming up soon and I think it will be hard on Riis regardless of SOL...

Danish newspaper reports of controversy between the two after poor results but in my opinion there has to be more to it..

Tinkov risks to alienate the whole team if he hasn't done that already...

Be ready for Team meltdown.....

Well, it looks like we are going to see Sky vs Hotsteppers showdown as every other relevant team is detonating themselves.

I think the ADD report is the real reason for his suspension.

I agree.. The poor results is just a smokescreen... When the report is out Tinkov can claim there is no reason to talk of it as he has already suspended Riis.. Case closed...
