I just don't get where you got "Uijtdebroeks wants to lead a GT" from. He's smart enough to understand he didn't perform well enough to get leadership status. A free role on the other hand would make sense to me, but I can imagine Visma doesn't want to have riders going for GC on their own. That doesn't work with their vision of "Samen winnen (win together)"
