Real Madrid, Mourinho will know how to handle him. No I'm joking Mourinho Won't be in Real Madrid next year.

Well I believe he will go to a Spanish team Moviestar maybe, but for me the logical step for COntador is indeed to go to a Spanish team.

99,9% it will be Saxo Bank if they can secure a sponsor and WT status for 2013. Fran (his bro and manager) stated that Saxo is their 1st prio.

My guess was Saxo, but I'd love to see him join a more powerful team...like someone said early, Movistar vs. Radioshack would be epic!

One can dream.

Albertos best returns have been with Astana, and he and Vino share a special relationship, thusly Astana.

I had no idea...

Saxo if they have a license. Riis has demonstrated that the doping isn't an issue with him.

Contador need to clean his reputation, so the perfect team for him will be Garmin. Even tho' Contador and Riis have become best buddies, Riis has failed to give Contador a strong team that can control the peloton. Todays Saxo team maybe strong enough for the Giro and Vuelta. But it certainly failed to give Contador strong support at the Tour. Therefore Contador will not resign with Saxo.

Contador needs a team like Garmin and Garmin needs a GT captain like Contador.

Wonder what the sponsors think ? Contador is out until August. I am tired of hearing about it. There will be plenty of other good riders to discuss before then. Judging by what happened at Astana and Discovery it will have to be a Spanish Team.

If every thing goes normal, I would say Saxo Bank. Riis loves the type of rider AC is. Aggressive, punchy, determined. Other choices... I guess AC burned the bridges behind him when he left Astana. MoviStar might be a choice as well. But in a better world, he would only be able to return with some small Croatian team... Racing the "Tour of Pridznerzdreznkrv" as his primary season objective... or with Miche or Christina Watches...

If Saxo doesn't get its licence taken away then he will sign with them.
If they do have it taken away then the Prodigal son will return, Astana.

No way especially not with Brajkovic/ Krueziger.

In a better world you must leave your prejudices at home;)

Prejudice?

I was just referring to another wonder climber and his last team...

My money is still on Saxo.

Or better yet, the Tour of Germany.

Didn't want to say anything against Croatia. I was just referring to a certain super climber (who used to outclimb AC easily occasionally) and who tried to get a Crooatian license last year. Sorry if anybody took my ironic remark as an insult.

And I would be happy to see Ac race the Tour of Germany because it would mean that this race was back on the calendar.

Well, I think you've just proven you're actually not one.
Cause a real one would say something like "I'd rather be labelled a Croatophob than a Croatian"...
Just saying.. :D:D

Which team did control the tour this year? The reason the racing was so good and unpredictable was that the leaders were usually isolated.

Is he allowed to negotiate a new contract while banned? And can he join a team halfway through a season? Didn't Movistar have to delay their announcement of Valverde for a bit - I think to do with his ban (can't really remember)?

I can't think of a reason why he wouldn't.

If he isn't on contract he can.

Wasn't it that they had to delay the presentation of him?

Ah, presentation sounds familiar. And thanks for the explanation

Eventhough the race was unpredictable, SaxoBank failed to give Contador strong protection. Even at tranferstages where he should take it easy, he suffered from "occasional crashes". Furthermore, hes best chance to rocket up in the GC depended on his alliance with Sammy Sanchez.
