A 7/5/5 record would imply that he rides and wins both the Giro and Tour, as you say, but that he loses the Giro, along with the Vuelta, from a ban. That seems pretty unlikely, i.e., if he rides the Tour, it will mean the decision (if a ban) comes after the Tour, in which case both the Giro and Tour results would probably stand (7/6/5). The only way he could lose the Giro and not the Tour is if he were given a back-dated ban ending between the Giro and Tour. I think the most likely scenario is a proactive ban before the Tour, so even if he manages to win the Giro, he would be 6/4/4.
