I think Eddy can get top 5. He was third here last year, behind Martin and Wiggins, but 37 seconds faster than Evans. Saw in an interview after todays victory, he is going to give it max to test his tempo-condition.

Well as Maltiv said he didn't train a lot on his TT bike this year, so will be defo interesting how he does here.

Weather could play a part tomorrow. It looks like a brisk southerly wind (crosswind) for the early starters, gradually turning more to the south-west and becoming more of a tail/crosswind. If it does then that will favour the later runners although Evans, Martin and Wiggins all start late anyway. There will be the risk of some showers or rain, especially later on, but at the moment it looks more likely to stay dry until after the race has finished. One to watch though.

Ah, a long ITT at last, not as good as the monstrous 75km ITT of the 1985 TDF in the Vosges where Hinault put 2+ minutes into everyone but still, that should be interesting to watch. The Giro ITT seemed over before it started really...

Well, the interesting part will be to see how the lesser gods cope with this long ITT. How do Nibali, Van den Broeck, Schleck, Rolland... compare to Wiggins, Evans, Menchov... I couldn't care less who wins this tbh.

I am interested to see if Menchov has actually regained his top end tt skills that he didn't have at Geox.

Same here, don't really care who wins, but I also want to see how JVDB and Coppel fair against the guys above. Too bad Sanchez and Westra don't seem to be fit enough.

Yeah Menchov is the guy i am most looking out for here.

He came 4th in 2010 dauphine tt when he destroyed it at the tour so it needs to be good this time too.

Also will try to through my fingers see just how bad Samu is going. He could lose minutes and minutes tomorrow.

Maybe you still have time, I took your advice and put 20$ on Machado, you should probably do the same.

interesting to see how well does TJVG do today also.
Menchov I don't think has the form yet. Can't expect much from him.

Surely only for the few pure climbers who never have any GC pretences? The climbers with GC pretences need to practice and do the best they can, for the domestiques it's a chance to prove their power output to their team/coaches etc. to secure their jobs in the future. For grand tour TT's you can see how lots would just want a rest and to get away from it, but these short tour TT's, why not go for it!

no he won't. He was 3rd in ToC ITT in a much weaker field. Where Voigt was 2nd and Gesink 4th. So I can't see him top 3 in this field.
Depends... he was 3d (?) in the Dauphiné TT as a neo pro. Although I don't know what his ambitions are for this race, he already lost time.

Get on Sylvain Chavanel at 150/1 - each way bet with Bet365. If he finishes 2nd or 3rd then you still get odds of 50/1 against your stake.

That is great value.

On it like a rash, Coppell at 150/1 is another decent each way shout, though I'm not as certains as on Chavanel. I know Chavanel has been doing work on his TT this year but not sure how well he'll go over the distance.

EBH at 22/1 each way is a decent bet given we know he was close to top 3 last year and we know he's going well.
