Seeing today's results and considering how well Danish riders have been going lately just makes it even more weird to think that in the entire history of cycling, there has only been one Dane who has won a GT ITT - Ole Ritter, more than 50 years ago.

Edit: Sorry, that's actually not true. Jørgen Marcussen also won an ITT in 1980 Giro.
If you're born in Denmark, you have two career options: become a successful cyclist, or act in a crime drama series.

No doubt a cycling detective series is in development..............
The pilot has basically already been written. Jens Adams, a Belgian cyclocrosser, had his three cyclocross bikes stolen from the trunk of his car in February. Later he was contacted by a Russian cyclocross fan, who had found his personalized bike on the local Ebay, and wondered if this was legal. Stick in a murder or two and you're good to go.

I just saw a quick interview with Vingegaard after the TT. He thought his performance was decent. But he acknowledged he probably went out too hard on the first part, then tried to save a little on the second part for the last uphill kilometers, but didn't have great legs on the finish.
